Koshej
NOTE: * in the topic name means "unfinished or unsure". [N1+N2*/N3 CARDS/SETS] means [DONE+UNFINISHED/TOTAL CARDS/SETS] I'm reworking my previous topic. I changed a few things, mainly the way I'll handle the card updating. I think it'll be easier and better, if I go by arc/episode order, adding up stuff that's NEW according to narutopedia. Which means I'll be doing it in a much more organized way, thus spreading it over multiple posts for easier access and editing. See my previous topic for card info, cause that won't change much, except for the updating order, and MAYBE I'll split characters into their RANKS, meaning multiple same-character cards, probably for a more varied card reference. Or maybe NOT, I'm not yet sure. Anyways, please welcome my first full SET (may be scattered into the other ones in the future - I'm yet to decide on this): [spoiler=GENERAL CARDS (25/25)] [spoiler=Narutoverse (1/1)] Neither player can activate or destroy Field Spell Cards. Either player can activate the following Effect during his/her Main Phase: #Remove Chakra Counters from 1 "Ninja:" monster you control. Koshej
Mind getting more specific about improvements??? Cause I thought I spent enough time on balancing the effects with what they should be... As of MORE - obviously shall come soon, though slowly. At least NOW I'm not stopped by not knowing which chars to choose next - I simply go by episodes. :D
HulkTySSJ2
Mind getting more specific about improvements??? Cause I thought I spent enough time on balancing the effects with what they should be... As of MORE - obviously shall come soon, though slowly. At least NOW I'm not stopped by not knowing which chars to choose next - I simply go by episodes. :D Just updating pictures, OCG errors, making holos, etc. I honestly like looking for good fan art pics first. DeviantArt is a great start. Secret rare holos are easy to make with GIMP as well. OCG errors can go back and forth since they updated the text on cards last year. I still use the older version, but still always double check, then recheck over and over until I have perfect OCG on all my cards. Also, I don't know a SINGLE remaining uploader that is true to their cards here still. Now days a new member comes by and says he's gonna make a huge set/gallery and just quits or leaves after just a bit or before finishing. I think that's mostly do to the website pretty much being dead compared to other forums though. About 4-5 years ago, YCM was the place to be for sure. ...so sad... I've been working on my gallery for over 5 years on here now and I'm still not even half way done. I'm doing a Dragonball related gallery, so it will basically NEVER truly end. I only get to upload a few cards a month or 2, but I'll never ever quit until the actual YCM website is taken down for good.....or they remove all my saved cards. Hope you stay true to this project of yours. If you continue to work at it I'll keep commenting and rating here as you update. ...wouldn't mind if you did the same for me, haha! Overall, good luck and don't quit!
Koshej
Well, at least THIS time I did an actual planning outline, like you can easily see from my posts. And since I have a basic card-making rule-structure this time, it'll take me much less time to do too. What really stops me usually, is the horrible EDITING this site provides... Like, I'd rather make 100 posts with 3-4 episodes (which is max a dozen or two cards per post, varied) than edit huge 100-cards lists I'm STILL forced to use... How you manage to keep track of 100s-cards-size lists, is beyond myself... So, with the CURRENT cards, do you see anything I should still CHANGE? Because if I leave it, it'll CRAWL into the future cards too, simply cause I'm using TEMPLATES of sorts... Waiting for your answer. See ya and good luck. :D

Because if I leave it, it'll CRAWL into the future cards too, simply cause I'm using TEMPLATES of sorts... Waiting for your answer. See ya and good luck. :D Firstly, I'd put all your cards in your opening post instead of having multiple ones. It's easy to keep track of my cards by saving them into a set and giving them a number above the last every time I make a new one. For example, the set name would be DBZ, while the number is EN025. Put together make DBZ-EN025. Other tricks to make the cards more realistic looking is to change the bottom section with the year and name to 1996 KAZUKI TAKAHASHI. Also, the section that shows the editions, like 1st Edition or whatever doesn't real compared to official cards, so I keep it blank, as in cards that are printed nonstop. CAPS work though, so saying LIMITED EDITION can work since it is CAPed on the official cards. Thanks.
Koshej
Please, stop "quoting" my posts - it doesn't work right (dunno, why) and only confuses even more. You obviously haven't LOOKED at my cards... Cause I do JUST THAT (N_001-025 being an example, meaning: Naruto, Episode 001, Card 025). Still, it helps ONLY in the cardmaker (though a LOT). I meant dealing with the huge-post-formatting problem, which is much worse. I'll end up either with endless spoilers (to make the POST look small) or with a card avalanche like YOURS (too disordered for my liking). As of copyright and edition: I'm changing it on purpose - to show these AREN'T real cards (cause... they aren't!) AND to show that they were made by me (Koshej). Cause, well, in a sense they DO "belong" to me, since I'm the one to put together the GAME, the PICTURE and the EFFECT. ANYWAYS. Would you rather focus on OCG and/or effects themselves - WHAT should I change according to you, if anything??? Thanks and please answer THAT. See ya! HulkTySSJ2
No quote this time. I looked at every single on of your cards carefully. I meant like the official way of showing the card's pack number. In the real game it goes like this "???-EN???". The first 3 "?" are letters that abbreviate the packs name, while the second 3 "?" show the order they were either made, or put alphabetically. I love my card order. I have a heading for each section, spoilers that contain the name of each card before opening them to save tons of space...along with a spoiled lore attached inside for each card as well, and all my listed cards are in alphabetical order. I didn't mean like acting the were real in real life for the official game, I just meant that putting 1996 KAZUKI TAKAHASHI gives it a more "Yu-Gi-Oh!" look. Like giving it the same template. Think about the Bandai Naruto and Dragonball CCGs. Naruto's game came out first, but a few years later the Dragonball CCG came out and had the EXACT same template AND rulings as the Naruto CCG, BUT cards from both games still couldn't be used in the same deck. ...I made my own set of rules for usage of my cards like this as well. These rules can be viewed in my opening post before the cards themselves. Both. Try to be creative with your effects. Do your best NOT to give them the same effect as an original Yu-Gi-Oh! card and leave it at that (Unless it seems to fit with the name and image of the card). At the same time, try to keep the OCG good as well. Reread your text every time you generate a card and be extra careful. Your welcome. See ya. Koshej
Since my goal isn't cards that LOOK realistic, but rather that can be PLAYED realistically, I'm not sure if I'll change those things (?-EN? and 1996 stuff). Probably NOT, for "copyright" purposes. I'm still dreaming of making a "SET" that'd span the whole Naruto franchise, well, most of it - so I'd like to have an anti-thief precaution. Anyways, especially since you went through my cards, my QUESTION was about already made MISTAKES, OCG or otherwise. So, if you do see any - please, tell me. I'm planning on updating soon, but I WILL use templates, so I'd rather have them RIGHT before making huge lists. Oh, and as of spoilers and stuff - I did explain that I hate EDITING the posts, not MAKING CARDS... See ya next update, hopefully. :D
Koshej
Changed a few cards. I'm still waiting for someone to accept or correct my OCG...
