Zazubat Posted March 11, 2013 Report Share Posted March 11, 2013 So I fought Aix just before and he use this neat return strategy with Divine Wind of Mist Valley, and I thought it was super neat, so I decided to try and build something that could work like his does. I see that he has made a topic here, but I havn't looked, as I always want my own touch on it, but of course be sure to judge as I have not really tried this yet, and don't know how it plays besides the duel I had with him. Aix Posted March 11, 2013 Report Share Posted March 11, 2013 Well, my build was actually completely different and focused a bit more on Xyz Summoning Rank 7. But, anyway, the full Divine Wind Loop requires 3 Ally Birdman, 2-3 Blastfan and 2-3 Fairy Dragon. Most typical way of it starting off would be: 1. Activate Divine Wind. 2. Normal Summon a WIND monster. 3. Return it with Birdman, Special Summon Blastfan with Divine Wind, use Blastfan to add Birdman. 4. Synchro Summon Ancient Fairy Dragon with Birdman and Blastfan. 5. Use Ancient Fairy Dragon's second effect to destroy Divine Wind and add Divine Wind and gain 1000 Life Points. 6. If you have another WIND monster on the field, use it to Special Summon Birdman, OR if you don't mind skipping your Battle Phase, Special Summon something from your hand with Ancient Fairy. Divine Wind summons another Blastfan, which adds another Birdman. 7. Repeat steps 3-6, until you run out of stuff. It was originally, I think, used in conjunction with Mist Valley Thunderbird, so there wasn't the problem of needing to get another on the field, but Thunderbird would just be a dead draw in this Deck. Anyway, you now have 3 Level 7s, so you can also Summon Tempest, if you want for 2 Rank 7s. You have a lot of control cards in your Deck. I didn't and it made way for a lot more space. Seeing the speed of this Deck, I don't know if control cards like that would be necessary because its a rather offensive Deck. Also, seeing as the Deck doesn't have any Graveyard dumping abilities other than Hysteric Party, I dunno if Zephyros is needed. You prolly want Pot of Avarice. Recycling is good. A +1 is great.
