When 2 monsters of the same Level battle, at the start of the Damage Step: Negate the attack, and if you do, immediately Xyz Summon 1 Xyz Monster using those 2 monsters only as Xyz Materials. The Special Summoned monster's effect is negated and it cannot attack directly. You can only activate 1 "Compact Collision" per turn.

Anyway, the OCG and overall wording was tripping me up. The intention for this card is to Xyz Summon a monster with the two monsters, but those 2 monsters must also fulfill the summoning requirements, so if that isn't what it does with the way it is worded...HELP?!

This is probably too strong, though situational and very original. Stealing one of your opponent's monsters isn't to be taken lightly and also immediately using it to Xyz Summon rather than having to wait a turn are significant plus sides. Also, something that may pass unnoticed is that it also works when YOU declare the attack, which is another big plus. This may need further drawbacks. Anyway, here's the suggested corrected text:

"When 2 monsters of the same Level battle: Negate the attack, and if you do, immediately Xyz Summon 1 Xyz Monster using those 2 monsters only, then take damage equal to that Xyz Monster's ATK."

Yeah I was thinking it needed a draw back, I don't think I am going to go with damage, but I get what you are saying. Thanks.

EDIT: Changed it a bit. Bringing Pearl into this?

I want to fix the OCG, but I am not 100 % sure when it happens, I don't think any card uses "battles" without also saying when, so I couldn't tell you when that is. I did some digging, and finaly found one, Rai Rider, and it's Rulings say that it's effect triggers "After damage calculation" so please add that so it's easier for people to know.

After damage calculation, when 2 monsters with the same Level battle: Negate the attack, and if you do, immediately (I don't know much about this word and how it's used, it seems that it's used to indicate that it's the first thing that happens right after something else has happened/when something else has resolved, so I'll keep it as it is for now) Xyz Summon 1 Xyz Monster using those 2 monsters as Xyz Materials. That Xyz Monster's effects are negated and it cannot attack directly.

Right, using your opponent's monster as an Xyz Material, something like this has been done before I think, not with Xyz Monsters, but something else, and it's pretty situational. If you're up againts an opponent using Wind-Ups/Constellars, it can become easy to Xyz Summon for you, and many other Decks can use this easily. I suggest you make once per turn clause + a no attack for the rest of the turn, as you can simply attack into an Xyz Monster, which seems unfair to me. Is really interesting though.

How can I negate the attack if the damage calculation has already been applied? I'll make it a once per turn thing.

oh yeah, silly me, rather put "At the start of the Damage Step" or an other point where ever you really want it. I put that because that was where my example of Rai Rider also had it, but it doesn't make much sense with this card of course.

Alright, will do. :D

You should add "as Xyz Materials", as you don't say what they're used for, and noobs don't understand anything, so it's best that way.

Not necessary. Take a look at the real card "Advanced Heraldry Art", that's where I took the OCG from. Also, about the "battles" thing, oops.

Well then... Konami, you have done it again, every other damn card says Xyz Material besides that one. I would personally still use my wording, but since that card says the same thing, you can use it if you wish

May I suggest better art for the card due to not being "Yugioh" friendly?

This picture is based on destruction, the one I have shows the combination of two conflicting forces, which is exactly what the card advocates, so this picture doesn't fit the card.
