Sora1499
In any fun deck, I'd rather run fader. In sitonyourassanddonothing.dek, this is godly.

Volcanism
There used to be actual debate because Faser can get warning but with only one warning I guess that's mostly done.

TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
TBH, things like this might be needed just to survive. Shows the state of the game, which I just lost about.

EmpoleMew
The OCG is maining it in Elemental Dragons now because the only way to beat them is to OTK them. Makes ya think.
ekko1990
Beats Battle Fader in general. Battle Fader gives you an extra monster. Sure its nice, but Scarecrow on the other hand cannot be stopped by anything bar effect negation.
Canadian
You can also Chain Swift Scarecrow to other Swift Scarecrows (among other things), where you cannot do the same for Battle Fader.

Sure its nice, but Scarecrow on the other hand cannot be stopped by anything bar effect negation. There's like 2 things that stop Fader that don't stop this. Fader is better in Decks such as Frognarchs that want it as Tribute Fodder but honestly in decks like Chain Burn I'd play this first since I have no use for a monster.
