Cold Fusion #1: A Support for my old Archetype.

Explanation time! Cold Fusion is a new series where I make cards whose effects work on the opposite of normal card procedures. Ex: Synchro Summon without a tuner, Ritual Summon without a ritual spell card or Xyz Summon with different levels. I'll try to make the effects varied so that it wont end up being "You can also X summon this card by Y. if you do, Z." I dunno how long the series will last, but I'll end it as soon as it starts getting stale. Also, the name Cold Fusion comes from Cold Nuclear Fusion. Something which doesn't exist and is clearly impossible, which is the aim of this series. Yeah. I'm sure this would go P.S: I'm taking suggestions to what I'm making next. 

 

This installment: Fusion without Polymerization! As if that hasn't been done to death, revived and done to death again already. But, it involves a Spell Card too, so it's not boring as all heck. It's a support for my old Magician's Advent. archetype. which revolves around Banishing spells. Gee, doesn't that sound familiar... But that was conceptualized before I heard about Spellbooks and before Prophecies were even revealed on TCG, so I'm not ripping off Konami.

1 DARK Monster + 1 "Witch" Spell Card
Can only be Fusion Summoned by Banishing the above cards from your Graveyard. (You do not use "Polymerization") This card's effects cannot be activated until the next Draw Phase. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can Banish 2 Spell cards from your Graveyard; Negate the activation of an Effect Monster's effect.

i do like the concept. sort of a weird melange between prophecy and vwxyz. considering it banishes from grave though, it can be a bit problematic with things like lavalval chain and summoner monk. maybe make it monster from field, spell from grave? up to you, since i dont forsee it being a HUGE issue, but i dont like cards that are easy to abuse in ways like that.
