Huh.. My money would have been on giving them a searcher of sorts, or at least a way to cycle the hand.

 

Messenger speeds it up by a turn.. whilst being dead under any other circumstance. It's alright. I mean, I doubt it'd make it close to competitive.

 

Now Veil of Destiny is really interesting. And the right sort of thing for the deck. But same as the above, it still wouldn't make the deck close to competitive.

 

However both of them are balanced. At least, I think they are. I can't see anything extremely broken about them

I'm with Bart up there. They both add some needed help to the party once it's been started, but they don't add much consistency because they can't help you get Destiny Board to your hand.
