Wolfie's MTG like yugioh set

Ok so i'm not sure if people know this or not, but a key element of MTG design is having each set make an impact on the format in some way or another using functional reprints, strictly betters, and throwbacks. Using that philosophy, I wanted to design a yugioh set that did just that: Impact the game in such a way that there was a huge upheaval, this creating a rotating format. (look up the idea of a metagame clock)
 
each group card group was modeled after a distinct deck in MTG's history, with yugioh's infamous PSCT as a guide. Turns out i suck at card design but lets give this a whirl

Relentless Rats 1
level 1/ dark/ beast/ ? ATK ? DEF
There can be any number of "Relentless Rats"in a deck. This card's name is "Relentless Rats." This card's ATK and DEF are equal to the number of Relentless Rats *800 on the field. Once per turn; you can normal summon 1 "Relentless Rats" from your hand. You can only gain this effect once per turn. When this card is sent from the hand or field to the graveyard: target one player; that player sends one card in their hand to the graveyard.


Relentless Rats 2
Level 2/ DARK/ beast/ ? ATK/?DEF

There can be any number of "Relentless Rats"in a deck. This card's name is "Relentless Rats." This card's ATK and DEF are equal to the number of Relentless Rats *800 on the field. When this card is normal summoned: you can special summon 1 "Relentless Rats" from your hand. When this card is sent from the hand or field to the graveyard; destroy one monster on the field.

Relentless Rats 5
level 8 / dark/ beast / ? ATK / ? DEF

There can be any number of "Relentless Rats"in a deck. This card's name is "Relentless Rats." This card's ATK and DEF are equal to the number of Relentless Rats *1200 on the field. This card cannot be special summoned. This card must be tribute summoned. During your main phase 1: You can tribute this card; special summon as many "Relentless Rats" from the deck. They cannot be used for a tribute summon, an XYZ summon, or a synchro summon. Send them to the graveyard at the end of the phase. You can only gain this effect once per turn.

Rat trap
normal trap card

Special summon as many "Relentless Rats" card(s) from your graveyard as possible. Then send them to the graveyard.

Rat Summoner Stone
continuous spell card

The normal summon of "Relentless Rats" cannot be negated or responded to. When a monster is normal summoned: reveal the top 3 cards of your deck; special summon any number of monsters with the same name as the normal summoned monster revealed this way.

Rat Chant
continuous trap card

When "Relentless Rats" is normal summoned: add 1 "Relentless Rats" card from your deck to your hand. Then discard 1 card.
 
Top Top Hop
Machine/ level 4/ 200 ATK/ 199 DEF/ fire
This card is also treated as a continuous trap and continuous spell card. (at all times). You may normal summon this card without setting. During either player's turn: you can change this card's battle position; look at the top 3 cards of your deck then put them back in any order, Then you may draw 1 card and place this card on top of your deck. (You can activate this effect multiple times during a chain).

Shiva Sensei, the Force of fire.
Spellcaster/ Water/ level 4/ 1900 ATK/ 1000 DEF

Your opponent cannot select other monsters as attack targets. If "Ifrit Sensei, the Force of Ice" is face up on the field: if a spell trap or monster effect is activated; you may reveal the top card of your deck. If it shares a card type (spell, trap, or monster) with the revealed card: negate the activation, and if you do: banish it. You can only activate the effect of "Shiva Sensei, the Force of fire" up to twice per turn. You must have at least 5 cards in hand to activate, resolve, and apply these effects.

Ifrit Sensei, the Force of Ice
Fiend/ Fire/ level 4/ 1000 ATK/ 1900 DEF

Your opponent cannot select other monsters as attack targets. If "Shiva Sensei, the Force of Fire" is face up on the field: if a spell trap or monster effect is activated; you may reveal the top card of your deck. If it shares a card type (spell, trap, or monster) with with the revealed card: negate the activation, and if you do: banish it. You can only activate the effect of "Ifrit Sensei, the Force of Ice" up to twice per turn. You must have at least 5 cards in hand to activate, resolve, and apply these effects.

Insight into Ballence
Quick play spell card

Draw 3 cards, then place 2 cards from your hand on top of your deck.

Thropter hopper topper
Continuous spell card

Once per turn: during either player's turn: tribute 1 monster; special summon 2 thropter foundry tokens (level 2, 1000ATK, 1000DEF, earth, machine) in face up attack position. They cannot be banished, tributed, used as fusion material monsters, or used as synchro material monsters


Hop Hop Rop
Machine/ level 1/ 300 ATK/ 200 DEF/ earth

This card is also treated as a continuous spell card. (at all times) Whenever the activation of an effect monster's effect is negated; your opponent discards 1 card.

Rip Top Hop
Quickplay spell card

this card is also treated as a continuous trap card. (at all times) You may activate this card from your hand without setting. Look at your opponent's hand; That player discards 1 monster card with a level equal to or less than the combined levels of all monster cards on the field

Library of Alexandria
Field spell

Players have no maximum hand size. During the end-phase: if the turn player has at least 6 cards in hand; that player draws 1 card
 
Bob the Darkest of Confidants
Dark/ Warrior/ level 2/ 1000 ATK/ 100 defense
If this Monster is the only monster on your side of the field: During your Standby phase; reveal the top card of your deck. If it is a monster take damage equal to its level *100. Then add it to your hand. This card cannot attack or be selected as an attack target if you control another monster.

Thornythorn Lizard
Fire/ level 4/ Lizard/ 1800 atk/ 200 DEF

When this card is sent from the field to the graveyard: special summon 3 Saproling tokens in face up defense position; (level 2/ EARTH/ Plant/ 1200 ATK/ 1200 DEF.

Hasty Hasty Elf
Level 6/ Fire/ 2500 ATK/ 201 DEF/ Beast warrior 

When this card is tribute summoned: reveal the top of your deck until you reveal a monster with a level less than the level of this card; special summon that monster. Put the cards revealed this way on the bottom of your deck in any order. This card can attack on the first turn of the duel.

Kozilek's inquisition
Normal spell card

Target 1 monster on the field; destroy that target if it is non-dark. If it is dark: that monster's controler discards 1 card, then draws 1 card. (face-down monsters have no attribute)

Bolt of Pure Evil
Quick play spell card

Draw 2 cards and reveal them: This card gains effects based on the types of cards revealed. (the effects do stack and resolve in the order drawn)
Monster: Discard 1 card, then target one monster; change the battle position of that monster
Spell: discard 1 card and if you do, destroy 1 face up monster on either side of the field
trap: Discard your hand, then special summon 1 monster from your graveyard.

Goyf, the Ultimate God
Level 5/ Earth/ Fiend/ ? ATK/ ? DEF

This card cannot be normal summoned. This card's attack is equal to the number of different specific card types in either player's graveyard *950 and it's defense is equal the the number of specific card types *950 + 300 (the specific card types are Normal spell cards, Normal trap cards, quick play spell cards, equip spell cards, Continuous spell cards, continuous trap cards, Counter trap cards, field spell cards, Ritual spell cards, normal monsters, effect monsters, fusion monsters, ritual monsters, and yxz monsters

Mortician of the Rot
Level 1/ Dark/ Spellcaster/ 100 ATK/ 100 DEF

Your opponent must select this card as an attack target before attacking other monsters. Destroy this card if you control non DARK monsters. Once per turn: During either player's turn you can: change this card from attack position to defense position; to banish 1 card from either graveyard OR draw 1 card.
 
Spell Stutter Faerie
level 2/ Water/ Fiend/ 100 ATK/ 100 DEF
You cannot normal summon or set this monster. This card can only be special summoned from the graveyard by its own effect. During your opponent's standby phase: if this card is in your graveyard, and you control 1 or fewer monsters,; you can special summon this card. During either player's turn if a spell or trap card is activated: you can return this card from the field to its owner's hand; negate the activation and if you do destroy it. Any conditions on that card are fulfilled as a part of this effect. You can only gain this effect of "Spell Stutter Faerie" once pur turn

baiscally this card negates spell and traps, and if it has a condition like duality does ("you can't special summon the turn you activate this card" ) spell stutter treats it as if were. I'm planning for the set to care if an activation was negated or not so blah

Faerie Blossom
continuous spell card

During your standby phase: you must pay 800 life points; special summon 1 Faerie token in face-up defense positon ( level 1/ fiend/ Dark/ 300 ATK/ 300 DEF). You can only gain the effect of "Faerie Blossom" once per turn.

Lesser King of the Fae
level 4/ water/ Fiend/ 1000/ 1000 DEF

You cannot normal summon or set this monster. This card can only be special summoned from the graveyard by its own effect. During your opponent's standby phase: if this card is in your graveyard, and you control 1 or fewer monsters; you can special summon this card. During either player's turn, When another monster is targeted by a monster effect, you can return this card to its owner's hand; change the target of that card to another monster you control. You can only gain this effect of "Lesser king of the Fae" once per turn

Faerie of destiny
level 3/ Dark/ Fiend/ 1500 ATK/ 1500 DEF

You cannot normal summon or set this monster. This card can only be special summoned from the graveyard by its own effect. During your opponent's standby phase: if this card is in your graveyard, and you control 1 or fewer monsters; You can special summon this card. During either player's turn, when your opponent draws a card you can return this card to it's owner hand and discard 2 cards; draw 2 cards. You can only gain the effect of "Faerie of Destiny" Twice per duel.

Oona Supreme queen of the Fae
level 1/ Dark/ Fiend/ 0 ATK/ 0 DEF/

You cannot normal summon or set this monster. This card can only be special summoned from the graveyard by its own effect. During your opponent's standby phase: if this card is in your graveyard, and you control no monsters; you can special summon this card. You cannot summon other monsters the turn you summon this card. Your opponent must select this card as an attack target before attacking other monsters. Your opponent takes all damage from battles involving this cad. Up to twice per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle or card effect; it is not.

Lightning bolt
quickplay spell card

Target 1 spell or trap on either side of the field; destroy that target.

Doom Blade
quick play spell card

Target 1 face up monster on either side of the feild; destroy it, then your opponent gains 1000 life points.

Sound mouth
level 6/ DARK/ reptile/ 2100 ATK/ 1200 DEF

You can normal summon this without tributes. if you do send it to the graveyard at the end of the current phase. When this card is summoned from the hand: target 1 monster on the field; send that target to the graveyard.

Mulled drifter
level 8/ wind/ Aqua/ 2300 ATK/ 1200 DEF

You can normal summon this one less tribute than required. if you do send it to the graveyard at the end of the current phase. When this card is tribute summoned: draw 2 cards.

Faerie clique
level 5/ Water/ Fiend/ 2300 ATK/ 2100 DEF

You cannot normal summon or set this monster. This card can only be special summoned from the graveyard by its own effect. During your standby phase: if this card is in your graveyard, and you control 1 or fewer monsters; you can special summon this card. You can only control 1 Faerie Clique. During either player's turn, you can return this card to your hand; look at your opponent's hand and select 1 card in it, then place that card on the bottom of your opponent's deck, Then that player draws 1 card. You can only activate this effect of "Faerie clique" once per turn
 
Loaming Life
normal spell card
tribute 1 monster to target 3 field spell cards with different names in your graveyard; return those targets to your hand. If this card is in your graveyard: During your drawphase, you can instead of conducting your normal draw; send the top 4 cards of your deck to the graveyard, and if you do add this card to your hand. You cannot conduct your battle phase the turn you activate this effect.

Dandycat
level 4/ plant/ EARTH/ 100 ATK/ 100 DEF

when this card is sent to the graveyard: special summon 1 fluff token in face-up attack position (Plant-Type/WIND/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0).

Cycling station 4
Continuous spell card

Once per turn: You can discard 1 level 4 monster or 1 normal spell card; draw 1 card. You can only control 1 face-up "cycling station" spell card

Cycling station 3
Continuous spell card

Once per turn: you can discard 1 level 3 monster or 1 normal spell card; draw 1 card. You can only control 1 face-up "cycling station" spell card

Ooze of Green Hunger
level 4/ wind/ Aqua/ 0 ATK/ 0 DEF

Up to twice per turn: during either player's turn, you can banish 1 card from your graveyard to target 1 card in either player's graveyard; banish that target and put 1 ooze counter on this card. (Ooze counters can only be removed when a card is removed from the field.) This card gains 900 ATK for each ooze counter on this card.

Conlis, the Mountian of Anger
Field spell card

You can pay 900 life points then discard this card; draw 1 card. When this card on the field is destroyed: you can add 1 field spell with a different name to your hand You can only gain 1 effect of "Conlis, the Mountian of Anger" per turn and only once that turn

Insula, the Island of Knowledge
Field spell card

You can pay 900 life points then discard this card; draw 1 card When this card on the field is destroyed: you can add 1 field spell with a different name to your hand You can only gain 1 effect of "Insula, the Island of Knowledge" per turn and only once that turn

Campus, the Plains of Honor
Field spell card

You can pay 900 life points then discard this card; draw 1 card. When this card on the field is destroyed: you can add 1 field spell with a different name to your hand You can only gain 1 effect of "Campus, the Plains of Honor" per turn and only once that turn

Perfundere, the Swamp of Corruption

Knight of the Loam Lands
Level 4/ warrior/ Earth/ 1900 ATK/ 1500 DEF

Once per turn: during either player's turn, change this card from attack position to defense position; destroy 1 field spell in your hand or on your side of the field then activate 1 field spell with a different name from your deck. That card cannot be destroyed until the next end phase

Banish 1 wing- beast monster from your hand; draw 2 cards. You cannot normal summon the turn you activate this card.

Chaos'd Orb
normal spell card

Send this card to the graveyard. During your standby phase if this is in your graveyard; banish it. During your draw phase: if this card is in your banished zone; add it to your hand. If you activate this card and this sequence has been repeated 5 times you win the game

Victory of the collation
normal spell card

Activate only if you control 5 monsters with the same attribute and 12 monsters of the same attribute (as the ones on your feild) in your graveyard; You win the game

Cabal Crush
normal trap card

Declare 1 card name; if that card is in your opponent's hand, they must discard all copies of it, otherwise you discard 1 random card. If this card is in your graveyard: you can tribute 1 monster; activate this card from your graveyard. (it can be negated)

Robowolf

You can Special Summon "Robotiger" by returning this card from the field to the Extra Deck. You cannot use this effect during the same turn this card is Special Summoned unless this card attacked. You can Special Summon "Robowolf" by returning this card from the field to the Extra Deck. You cannot use this effect during the same turn this card is Special Summoned unless this card attacked. If this card inflects battle damage from a direct attack; your opponent loses 1000 life points

While this card is in your deck, on the field, in your graveyard, in your hand, or in your banished pile: you may have as many cards in your deck that you can shuffle without assistance. During your standby phase: if you have 200 or more cards in your deck; you win the game.

pot of balance
normal spell card

Reveal the top 3 cards of your Deck, add 1 of them to your hand, then shuffle the rest back into your Deck. You can only activate 1 "Pot of balance " per turn. You cannot Special Summon a monster(s) during the turn you activate this card.
