Gem-Knight Star

Level 10

EARTH

Rock/Fusion/Effect

ATK/2900 DEF/2500

2 "Gem-Knight" Monsters OR 1 "Gem-Knight" Fusion Monster + 1 EARTH, FIRE, WIND, or WATER Monster

Must first be Fusion Summoned.  This card gains the following effect(s) by the Attribute of the non-"Gem-Knight" monsters used for the Fusion Summon:  ● EARTH: This card gains 200 ATK for each "Gem-Knight" card in your Graveyard.  This card gains the effects of all Level 7 or lower banished "Gem-Knight" Effect Monsters and Gemini Monsters if they would be treated as being Normal Summoned as an Effect Monster.  ● FIRE:  Once per turn: you can banish 1 "Gem-Knight" card in your Graveyard and target 1 monster on the field; Destroy that monster and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of that monster.  Your opponent cannot activate any card effects in response to this effect.  ● WATER:  Once per turn: You can select 1 card in your opponent's hand and declare a card type (Monster, Spell, Trap).  If you called right, your opponent cannot use any cards with the same name as the target card until the End Phase.  Your opponent cannot activate any card effects in response to this effect.  ● WIND:  When this card destroys a monster by battle, it can attack again.  In addition, when this card declares an attack, your opponent cannot activate any card effects until the end of Damage Step.

Ruling: If a "Gem-Knight" monster was used in place of the EARTH, FIRE, WATER or WIND monster, then "Gem-Knight Star" gains the effect equal to the attribute of that "Gem-Knight" monster.

Gem-Knight Rust

Level 3

EARTH

Fiend/Fusion/Effect

ATK/1000 DEF/1000

1 "Gem-Knight" Monster + 1 DARK Monster

Cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon while there are at least 2 "Gem-Knight" monsters in your Graveyard.  Cannot be destroyed by battle and is unaffected by the effects and conditions of other card effects.  At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a monster: Destroy that monster immediately (without damage calculation) and inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of that monster's ATK.  Players that do not control a Fusion Monster cannot Special Summon monsters.  Destroy this card during your 2nd Standby Phase.

Gem-Knight Nova Fusion

Normal Spell Card

Discard 1 card and select 1 "Gem-Knight" Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck.  If they possess a Fusion Material Monster(s) for that monster: Send, from any player's hands, the Fusion Material Monsters listed on a "Gem-Knight" Fusion Monster Card, then Special Summon that Fusion Monster from the Extra Deck (this Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon).  If they do not, then you lose 1000 Life Points.

Gem-Knight Corrosive Fusion

Quick-Play Spell Card

Banish, from either side of the field, the Fusion Material Monsters listed on a "Gem-Knight" Fusion Monster Card, then Special Summon that Fusion Monster from the Extra Deck (this Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon).  When this effect successfully resolves, destroy all other monsters on the field and Special Summon 2 "Rusted EffigyTokens" (Level 10/DARK/Rock-type/Effect/ATK 3000/DEF 3000) onto your opponent's side of the field.  They cannot declare an attack.  When a "Rusted Effigy Token" is destroyed by the effect of an Effect Monster, that monster can attack twice this turn, but no other monsters can attack during that turn.

Managed to make Gem-Knights the next Omni-HEROs and users of Super Poly.  CnCs are appreciated

I like the idea. Both monster have good balances to their powers and seem to be useful.  But their names seem to have nothing to do with gemstones, unless I'm missing something. Corrosive Fusion is a good archetype super poly, but Nova just seems flat out unfair, the Gem-Knights Fusions are very unspecific resulting in stealing cards from their hand, the supposed safe heaven, and your arsenal way too easily. There are no drawbacks to Nova, resulting in flat out vicious destruction of the hand, 1 card is nowhere near a good enough cost.

Well, I planned to have Star's flavor be an evolved Master Dia after coming into contact with the Nova, and the Star's terminology here is a meteorite, which can be considered a jewel depending on how you look at it.  Rust, I was thinking of a way of how Gems, or minerals, degenerate because of various circumstances.  Rust came into my mind first, but if you have a better term for that, then I would welcome it.

With Nova, I can make it so that you would HAVE to choose a "Gem-Knight" Fusion monster before hand and look into your opponent's hand, and if they do not possess any materials, then the Fusion fails.

But I do thank you for commenting.  It does mean alot there.
