[Striker] Poison Plant Cannon

This card cannot be destroyed, except by a card effect. During either player's Main Phase: You can target 1 monster; place 1 "Poison Counter" on the targeted monster. During your second End Phase after this cards activation; remove the "Poison Counter" from the targeted monster. You can only activate this effect of "Poison Plan Cannon" once per turn. (A monster with a "Poison Counter" cannot declare an attack and cannot be used as an Xyz Material Monster.) If this card is destroyed: Remove all "Poison Counters" on the field.

 

I saw the image, and I had the urge to make a card with it. I'm a bit iffy on the first clause, but it does make it a "weed" that needs to be removed correctly. So, CnC?

You know, the fact that it can't be killed by monster effects either, in essence, is a really big flaw in design. The way it's worded, the effect is quick. You have a reusable veiler right there, and the monster can't be used for Xyz. It can't be destroyed by monster effects since it can basically protect itself from them, and the battle immunity just adds to that.

Okay, I'll go with the alternative for the final clause (cannot declare an attack) then. Would that fix those issues?

 

Well, it turns into a reusable Fiendish Chain... I don't really believe that to be a good idea either. Change the effect AND give the counters a lifespan is what I think you should do.
