Freakish Hero
Welcome to my first archtype. I'm not fully versed on current card grammar so it'd be very appreciative if instead of bashing me for what I have written, enlighten me on how it should be written. This is my first real attempt to create any cards, let alone an archtype so please don't judge too harshly. All constructive criticism is welcome, however. The Doomvale archtype relies on banishing and unbanishing cards for effects. Swordsman of Doomvale When an opponent's card is banished you can special summon this card from your hand. This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster except for the Synchro Summon of a "Doomvale" monster. Knight of Doomvale This card can be special summoned from your hand if your opponents has a banished card(s). When this card is flipped face-up banish up to 3 cards in your opponents graveyard. This card gains 500 ATK for each card banished by this effect until the end phase. Earth-Spahi of Doomvale If this card is banished from the graveyard you can special summon it during the End Phase: If you do target 1 "Doomvale" monster in your graveyard: Banish that target. Fire-Spahi of Doomvale Send 3 banished cards to the graveyard to special summon this card. You cannot normal summon the turn this card is summoned. Each time an opponents card would be sent to the graveyard flip a coin, if you call it right you decide whether the card is banished or sent to the graveyard: this card gains 100 ATK for each card banished by this effect. Arms-master of Doomvale If this card is used as a Synchro Material Monster for the Synchro Summon of a "Doomvale" monster, banish it when it is sent to the graveyard: when you do, draw 1 card. Dutchess of Doomvale You can normal summon this card by banishing 1 face-up "Doomvale" monster you control. Once per turn you can banish 1 card in your graveyard to target 1 card on the field: banish that card. Dimensional Dragon of Doomvale This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned (from your hand) when a level 10 or higher monster you control is banished by its own effect. The original ATK and DEF of this face-up card is equal to the number of banished cards x 300. Neither player takes battle damage from battles involving this card. Once per turn you can send 1 banished card to its respected players graveyard to negate the activation of a Monster Effect or Spell/Trap card effect that would affect this card and destroy it: If a monster was destroyed by this effect it is returned to its owners hand during the End Phase. Ravager of Doomvale When this card is Synchro Summoned draw 1 card: You can reveal it to your opponent to target 1 card in your hand and banish that target: If you do target 1 bainshed "Doomvale" monster and special summon it to your side of the field. It's effects are negated and it is destroyed during the end phase. Mechaforce of Doomvale When this card is Synchro Summoned target up to 10 cards in either players graveyard and banish them. You take 500 points of damage for each of your opponents cards banished by this effect. Once per turn target 1 of your banish cards: send it to the graveyard. If you do not: banish this card. Doom Shattering This card can only be activated when a card is banished. Flip a coin: If heads send all banished cards to the graveyard. If tails shuffle all banished cards back into their respected decks. Doomvale Device This card can only be activated as a chain link 4 or higher. Negate the effects of all other cards in the chain and destroy them: When you do banish any number of cards in either players graveyard up to double the amount of cards destroyed by this effect.
