My First Laser Card effect !!!

I took some time for doing this ^^;

9/10 wow nice!.. krondalix how to make the laser effect?

I used photoshop for creating and rendering this effect.

 

- Line tool for make the grid on a layer

- Brush tool for the dots on the same layer as the grid

- Blending option/Gradient Overlay --> Rainbow Style

- Image-->Transform--> Rotate (clockwise or counter-clockwise) up to 10 degree

- Eraser tool to erase the borders

- Image-->Adjustements-->Brightness and contrast (on the layer with your card picture) and decrease brightness to "-50"

 

Your card might be finished ^^;

Explain me "foil" effect (don't understand loll)

 

There is no need filters for this effect.

 

The line tool is found on the little panel (where you select the brush or pencil).

 

Blending option is found on your layer window (usually in right of your screen) by clicking the right button of your mouse on the selected layer.

There you will find Gradient overlay on the popped up window.

 

The Rainbow gradient is on all photoshop versions usually from the 6.xx versions on the gradient styles panel (found on the gradient overlay through blending option anyway).

oh loll forget to tell you this:

 

- line tool must be 5 px

- use the selection tool to remove 1/2 along the line like this

example:

 

before ________

after _ _ _ _ _ _

 

(the easiest way is to move your selection with arrows from your keyboard and delete each two arrow pressed)

Brush tool with dot's style and clicked around the image over 50-100 times to create random dots on the picture.

can't find the dot's style in brush!.. how sweat.

the lines need to be squared with 2 cm long between crosses it represent squares like 196 pixels i suppose (you can use the rulers on the "View" menu).

 

don't forget to delete 1 / 2 pixels along the lines with selection tool

Okay so all words i said before with "selection" you juste have to keep in mind that's the "marquee" tool. Sorry if you misunderstand me... (i'm french in base language)
