One of my first tries at a Realistic Card (it happens rarely, you know!)

So, was thinking about expanding this card into an archetype, but for now I made a card that should stand for its own.

 

As for cards supporting effects of a similar nature, they are to come later (if I'm not too lazy to make them).

 

Without further ado, I give you Rasatyu - The Mechanic Alligator!

[spoiler=Click Here, You Know You Want To!]When this card is Normal Summoned, roll a six-sided die; shuffle this card into the Deck. You can pay 1000 Life Points x the result of the die to draw cards equal to the result of the die. If this effect is activated, your opponent doesn't take damage until your next Standby Phase.[/spoiler]

 

I'd be grateful for any lore fixes because this type of effect is not commonly found in the TCG.

 

Also, if someone knows how I can post the actual Image, that'd be great too (I tried attaching the image but it said that that kind of image extension is not allowed in this community).

Please, whenever posting here, provide a working image. Otherwise this belongs in Written Cards.

 

So far, from this card's effect, either two things can happen: You cannot pay Life Points as you cannot activate this card's effect in the Graveyard, or You can use this card's effect as many times as you want equal to the number of LP you have.

 

The former hypothesis makes this card utterly pointless. The latter, however, makes this card potentially broken. In all honesty, because there is no "You can only activate this effect once per turn" (this being the paying LP clause) you are consequentially able to ignore the Dice Roll as, even if you roll a 1, you can pay 7000 Life Points and Draw Seven cards by paying 7 bouts of 1000 LP. This makes the Dice Roll insignificant.

 

Furthermore, running a LP feeding Exodia Deck breaks this.

 

You need to nerf this significantly, or actually make the card work. Whatever the case, adding a "Once per turn" effect in there is vital.

The point of the card was to summon it, roll a die, shuffle to deck, and then pay LP equal to the die roll and draw cards equal to the die roll. If you (or anyone else for that matter) can fix the lore so that it point out to that, I'd be immensely grateful.

 

As for the effect, I'll definitely put a "Once per turn" in there as soon as someone fixes the lore so that the effect is less confusing.

 

Anyhow, for the restrictions I thought not attacking might be enough, but completely disregarded the Exodia LP feeding decks. So I really would appreciate to know how it can actually be nerfed. Adding a "Skip your next Draw Phase" would not accomplish much, as Exodia decks do not need to exactly draw next turn if they just rolled a six. So, any opinions on what the other restriction should be?

 

For the image, I'll start working on posting a working one ASAP.

 

Edit: Fixed the image, and thought more about the restrictions, it basically restricts everything except for Exodia decks, that's why I put the damage restriction so that burn decks don't benefit; however, I'd still greatly appreciate a restriction for Exodia decks.
