Not sure what's the point of this except perhaps getting rid of Acid, and even so, this seems bad.

I dunno', I know you made it a little wonky to justify Totem Bird, but even then, Totem is just an awkward card in general :/
Although.... It being a Spellcaster.... I know that has some added bonus to it, but I can't think of it off the top of my head.

Maybe I should give it a second effect? Or make it a Beast Tuner.

You can't even do that. Acid Golem prohibits you from Special Summoning. According to the rules, you wouldn't even be able to attempt that summon, even though the process would get rid of Acid Golem.

If getting rid of Acid Golem would be part of the idea, though, I'd recommend this card having tributing a Rank 3 as a cost to getting an additional Normal Summon or something.
