Bujin Relic - Hetsuka

Recommended Posts

Probably the best War God monster in my opinion, and here's a few reasons why:

1.With 1700, it's the next strongest Main Deck Bujin, except if you count Orochi, but that card has less DEF, so this card wins in terms of stats.

2.It negates during either player's turn.

3.It does it for any Bujin monster, not just Beast-Warriors, so it's way more flexable.

4.It doesn't have a "once per turn" clause anywhere on the card.

5.It can be used during the Damage Step, so your opponent won't be able to Lance you with this in the Grave.

6.You can use multiples of this time during the same Chain.

7.It can negeate stuff that targets multiple monsters.

8.As it doesn't negate activation, your opponent isn't able to use the effect again for the rest of the turn (for only once per turn clauses that is).

9.It can negate your own card effects, if you for some reason needed to do that, say needed to put something in the Grave by detaching an Xyz Material, you could negate the effect, if you will get hurt by it in some way.

Others I missed? Be sure to comment them.

Bad things:

1.It can miss the timing though, but it's unlikely that your opponent will have anything that SEGOCs that also targets.

2.It DOES need to target, which means that Dark Hole can take out your cards easily. It has happened to me a few times, and it's the biggest flaw of this card.

During either player's turn, when a "Bujin" monster(s) you control is targeted by a card effect: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; negate that effect.

The best War God card is Yamato. Without any shadow of a doubt, because without it there isn't a deck in the first place

This is a great Vessels though, one of the 3 best of them. And wait, this can be used in the damage step?

OP stated that. Anyway, yeah this isn't really the "best" because without Yamato, it wouldn't even run like it does, but let's not take that into account, as it's kinda different from the other monsters in the Deck. Now that said, I think I would agree, while Habakiri is up there, I will say that this is typically what I go for first, unless I really need that protection.

This isn't even in the top 3.

The destruction one, the honest, and of course, Yamato, are all better.

Let's not put Yamato into this, as it's different from the others, only the ones that support Yamato OK? I also find Murakumo to be alright, but it can actually get cloggy, as I dead drawed it and Habakiri at some point, though that can be said about anything, but at least with this you can still negate if that's your thing.

i would say murakumo is worse than hetsuka as a once per turn single face-up card destruction is a bit less useful than a multi-use effect negation. the top 3 (excluding yamato of course) are habakiri, hetsuka, then murakumo

The top 3 in that order? Hmmm, I would like to disagree, but then again, Habakiri is always useful, while this can become more situational. I agree with you on this.

I actually think (not including Yamato) that this is the best of the 3 staple relics.

Hetsuka > Habakiri > Murakumo > other lolelics

I believe that your order is the right one here, though I see why people would also choose Habakiri as number 1.

To some point I think it's more of a preference now, especially since the deck has to run all 3 of Habakiri, Hetsuka and Murakumo for the moment.

I don't think running 3 of Murakumo is a good idea. It's never really needed, and it's easy to get it back with both Rise and Armament if you need it. I havn't tested much with only 2 yet, though I think it would run faster with it.

I meant running all 3 of the main relics of Hetsuka, Habakiri and Murakumo...not how many you run in your deck...

Oh, I thought you meant "Run 3 of everything: Hetsuka, Habakiri and Murakumo". That's my mistake.
