Kyng's Old Account
I've decided, from now on, to make my cards slightly more interesting, by giving a little section of flavour text for my effect monsters. Fun for me creating, and hopefully fun for you to read it!
You can Special Summon this card if your opponent controls a Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster. You can only control 1 face-up "Phantom Hunter Herne". If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. When this card battles a Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster; this card inflicts Piercing Damage. Also, if that target is destroyed by battle with this card: You can target 1 Spell or Trap card your opponent controls; destroy it. That Spell or Trap card cannot activate in response to this effect.Fixes:1 - Restricted the number of "Phantom Hunter Herne"s you may control, in order to balance it out.2 - Fixed appropriate OCG.3 - Added Spell/Trap destruction abilities to improve the card.
A wicked ghost, haunting the realms and woods, the Phantom Hunter roamed with a wicked grin. Wearing the fruits of his hunt, and turning his victims to his very tools, Herne continues to hunt down and take his prey by the hand of the unstoppable Wild Hunt. Woe to those whom cross the path of Herne, the Phantom Hunter!I made this card inspired by a British Ghost of the same name. This card is obviously anti-Fire Fist/Fire Kings, taking advantage of the ability to render Spells and Traps utterly useless when he goes on his hunts. I think that his Special Summon clause is a bit too powerful though, and that I should possibly make you have to Tribute 1 monster in its place. What do y'all think? newhat
I think the Special Summon clause, while strong, is too situational to deserve a nerf. This will be completely dead against 90% of the Decks you'll encounter, and Fire Fists can just boost out of its range with Tensen before it attacks, then kill it with Bear the following turn. "Attacks" doesn't need a semicolon because the effect is Continuous.

I'll post the fix when, or if, I get any other reviews which can help me conclude to perhaps improve the card. ^_^
Strider Tigerwolf
As long as you can't summon more than 1 and control no more than 1, you're good. The card is very useful, very strong and should not be abused in multiples since you can really make a near OTK with 3 of these alone. Nerf the Special Summon to maybe this: You can Special Summon this card if your opponent controls a Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster. You can only control 1 face-up "Phantom Hunter Herne".
~Shin~
Ojama Trio makes this more playable as well as that DNA card. Only thing I can say here is that IMO it needs a Catastor like effect. Also, if you do make this more powerful, I think "You can only control 1 Herne" or "SS 1 Herne per turn" would be enough to balance it.

Basara, I would use a Catastor like effect, but plain destruction will trigger Fire King monster effects. I'll try to find a solution which doesn't trigger them, though.Updated!
