necrosim
Crystal Beast Prism Lamassu Light Level 7 Beast Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by having 5 "Crystal Beast" cards face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone. If this card on the field would be sent to the Graveyard: You can send 1 face-up “Crystal Beast” card from your Spell & Trap Card Zone to the Graveyard instead. While this card is face-up on the field “Crystal Beast” cards you control cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects. I mean.... why not right? It's a boss monster for CBs that's actually pretty easy to summon and and has a decent eff. And once it gets on the field it's gonna be a bit of a problem to get rid of. This may not be like the greatest support card for CBs but i just saw the artwork and thought it would make a perfect crystal beast boss monster. If you have any suggestions feel free to let me know. Judαs
It's good and balanced at everything, but honestly I think the cost killed it. When someone is using CBs you know you have to pop the beasts in the Spell/Trap zone so they don't use stuff like Abundance. As it is it's really hard to get 5 full, and you might probably not even want to have 5 (If the Summon of this card gets negated, you've locked yourself into no S/Ts.) To make it more usable but still keep it balanced perhaps bring the cost to having 4 CBs. I think that's more than enough.

I changed it's eff to say "4 or more". Like I said I just saw the art and thought it would make a good crystal beast, never actually played them, but I did read up on their play style and stuff to make sure that this card at least fit the theme of the archetype and was actually playable (not enough apparently). Judαs
You're welcome. :) And welcome to the forum too. Probably not your first card, but you're off to a decent start, I'd say. Also if you play a casual match, do try CBs sometime, they're a very good fun deck. :)

Strider Tigerwolf
That's a really hefty effect that's probably passed borderline broken. Having 5 C.Beasts on the Spell/Trap zone isn't a difficult feat at all and is in fact one of the keys to unlocking C.Beasts full potential especially with Rainbow Ruins. The second effect is a complementary effect to it's Summon Condition. Both of these don't make the card broken, so what does? This: "While this card is face-up on the field “Crystal Beast” monsters you control cannot be targeted by your opponents cards either for effects or attacks, other than this card." D. Prison, Compulsory, Forbidden quick-plays, Mind Control, Fire Fist Bear, BLS - EotB, Book of Moon, etc, etc. are now rendered useless and even Big Beaters such as Malefic Rainbow Dragon, Grapha or any +2600 ATK monster can't do crap by battle to your monsters since they can't be targeted for an attack in the first place. Add to the fact that you WILL be running Rainbow Ruins, cards like Dark Hole, Heavy Storm, Torrential Tribute and you find yourself against a barrage of C.Beasts that you can't attack or get rid of by normal means. Garunix can get around it, but even then having a lock like this is just...bad.

I had honestly made it that way intentionally but I hadn't considered it in relation to other cards. Any suggestions to fix it? What if I made it's non-targeting eff one or the other, or if i made it's not destruction eff once per turn so that's easier to destroy?
Strider Tigerwolf
At least allow them to attack your C.Beasts. Then the whole concept of battle awakens once more and fixes the issues while still making this a very powerful card, so I would re-edit the effect to: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Done. Now you still have the protection against cards such as D. Prison, Forbidden Lance, Fire Fist Bear, etc, etc, but you can still be beaten down by battle with 2600+ ATK monsters which gives some form of weakness the deck. I also made it a Semi-Nomi so that you can Special Summon with Monster Reborn should you meet it's Summon Conditions in the first place.

Thanks for the suggestion Chance, I really think that would make for a better and more balanced card, changed the original post.
