Terrashift - Field Spell shenanigans

Destroy 1 Field Spell Card on the field; return 1 Field Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand. If this card is in your Graveyard during your End Phase: You can banish 2 Field Spell Cards in your Graveyard; add this card to your hand.

[hr]

An all purpose recycler for Field Spell orientated decks. Allows you to kill a Gates or Spellbook Tower of your opponent's, whilst grabbing a grave-bound Necrovalley (or whatever else); or, you can kill your own Geartown for a Gadjitron, and then reuse it (one of the more evil combos). Not sure if it's too much atm, but it might be an alternative to Terraform; and as a general Malefic card. Reps for good reviews.

This would be very effective with some decks, however, I find it slightly worrying that you can return it to your hand by simply banishing a single field spell, making it two or removing the cost entirely and having to wait until next end phase might suit better as I could see it simply ripping apart some decks that rely heavily on field spells, for example if the other player is using a umi based deck

I don't think Umi is played much nowadays, but even then; it's only going to be pitted against this in a few decks, so it shouldn't be an issue. On top of that, chances are that a deck heavily relying on Umi/A Legendary Ocean would play this too; so it balances out, in my eyes.

Infinitely recurring Gates of Dark World or Divine Wind of Mist Valley? No thank you. Make the change stated above as it is bad design, it's a recurring card advantage like Gem-Knight Fusion and Giski Aquamirror, and make the Field Spell be added during the End Phase to prevent too much spam.

EDIT: Okay, it's still a bit like Sinister Serpent, but I suppose it's better.

But unlike Serpent, this has a finite cost that will eventually be used up. And besides, there is a point whereby you wouldn't want to add it to your hand if all you only have 1 Field Spell left. Did you misread the first time around, because It's always been End Phase. I might up the cost a little, but I want to make it flexible. Is two Field Spells balanced enough?

Yeah, that's fine.
