Rank-Up-Magic Evolved Barian's Force

Spell

You can only activate this card if you control a "CXyz" or a "Number C" monster. Target 1 face-up Xyz monster you control; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "CXyz" or "Number C" monster with 1 Rank higher, by using it as an Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is also treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to that target also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.)

Now for some new CXyz

Gonna preface this by saying one thing: if you make image cards of these, you MUST use Don Thousand's emblem.

That said... The biggest problem with the Rank-Up Spell is that it requires you to have already Rank-Upped. Given the resources involved in that, and the fact that RUMs are still unsearchable, this really hurts its consistency. Then, as a reward for doing all this, you Rank-Up AGAIN, which does give you a powerful monster but may mean you don't have any Overlay Units left you want to detach. So let's have a look at them...

I do like Cheer Lady, because she has you drawing cards out the ass; HOWEVER, I fear that being able to draw cards so easily may mean 500 per cards in your hand is excessive, especially when the previous form has likely burned as well.

As for Asgard, LOVE the name. Also continues the sci-fi double-meaning trend from Babylon, so bonus points. The Babylon effect is utterly ridiculous with the double-attack ability though; you're reducing your opponent to 25% of their starting life AT BEST, and this thing can easily OTK. It should be once per turn at most, or a simple burn effect of a specified value.

So looking at these... you're rewarding being insanely lucky and mismanaging resources with stupidly-powerful effects. You should work for Konami at R&D.

Are you saying I should nerf the evolved ones?

When I made the RUM card I was thinking that exact same thought

Cheer Lady might be fine, Asgard really needs the nerf because Life to 25% is too strong.

Cheer Lady got a slight nerf from 500 to 300, and can only deal damage once per turn. Asgard has to detach to deal damage now, and inflicts 1000 instead of half of the opponent's life points.

Much less scary, these would be fine. Now all we need is a RUM searcher and we're good.
