TheKaitoKid Posted May 22, 2013 Report Share Posted May 22, 2013 You can target 1 Level 5 or higher DARK Spellcaster-Type monster you control; Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, this card's Level becomes the same as the target's. If this card is targeted for an attack or by a card effect: You can change this card's Battle Position, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Dark Magician" or "Dark Magician Girl" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard. Each effect of "Magician's Assistant" can only be used once per turn. It's essentially a counterpart to Blue-Eyed Maiden but a little different. She doesn't negate the attack or card effect [BEM negates the attack] and she isn't a tuner. The trade off is that she makes easy 2-Material Rank 5+ Xyz Monster with another Spellcaster on the field. And it can only be used in DARK Prophecy's which I haven't seen much of but I believe they already focus on Xyzing. Oh and it's also inadvertently Gagaga support. newhat Posted January 9, 2014 Report Share Posted January 9, 2014 The primary use for this would be with Gagaga Magician since it is an alternative to Gagaga Child that doesn't eat the Battle Phase.
