The Summoning, activation and effects of cards you control cannot be negated. When this card laves the field; draw 1 card.[hr]The Sacred Sky Temple brings many blessings to those whom make pilgrimage. It is rumoured that the very heavens themselves bestows the pious powers and protections in order to reward their favour; will you make your pilgrimage to the Sky Temple, and seek its abilities for yourself?

I thought a nice, general Field Spell might be interesting, plus this does somewhat prevent negation and thus kicks the Solemns in the crotch as well as a number of other difficult issues.

Uhm, I don't really know what to say, the design here is just unfair. If it maybe nuked when it left instead of giving you a bonus for doing so I would maybe be a bit ok with it. As it's a Field, it's easily searchable, and pretty much makes you able to make your move without worrying, and pretty much allows you to play without too much worry. Of course it's easy to get rid off, but that can be said about any S/T card. As said, needs a nuke/a serious cost for something like that.

Firstly and foremost, thanks for the review! ^^

Now, I can understand what you are saying, but you must consider a few things. For example, while cards such as Solemn Judgement are negated, Bottomless Trap Hole and Dark Hole, etc. would still be a threat, as well as Mirror Force.

But, I do feel for your reasoning and agree that it should have a restriction. I don't think a serious cost is necessary, but I think that, perhaps a milling/LP maintenance cost might remedy this?

Yes, I do know this, but there's many many things that negate nowadays, and really it isn't good design. Some sort of maintanance cost could also work I suppose.

Read the Advanced Clause before posting in this section. =_=

you know, you're suppose to just report it, that is considered spam.

Anyway, you havn't updated the card yet, I thought it was suppose to have a Maintanance Cost.

Laves irritates me :D

The card itself actually seems okay. It takes away a few worries in terms of the backrow, which is a strong effect; but Royal Decree will do a better all-round job for trap negation, which makes me think this is fine as is.

The design is such that it isn't too limiting, and the fact it's searchable and easy to use means it is usable. It's the kind of card that might see play in more general builds, but archetype specific stuff has better things to make space for (could be cool in Malefics, though).

I think it's pretty well judged, but is the draw effect needed?

I'm glad I have some counter-balancing arguments, which means I am satisfied with leaving Sky Temple as it is for now. As for the Drawing effect, I figured it'd be something nice, since the majority of Field Spells work on the premise of supporting a particular Deck theme, but with this being generic, a little draw might be suitable.
