The Special Summoned monster's effect(s) are negated, it cannot declare an attack, and it cannot be used as an Xyz Material monster, except for the Xyz Summon of a "Heroic" monster. This card can only be used to Synchro Summon a Warrior-Type monster. The effect of "Heroic Challenger - Calvary" can only be used once per turn.

I like it. I has a xyz remora type effect, which honestly is something I would like to see more of. Though to be honest the "heroic" archetype is all about its xyz monsters so it might be better if this card had an effect where it could have the potential to xyz.

Adding this clause wouldn't be too OP given how things like "Battlin Boxer Pitchhitter exist." 

 

In addition it might be better to limit Calvary to only being able to use its effect once per turn. "The effect of Heroic Challenger -Calvary can only be used once per turn."
