Well' date=' this card is ok. not that bad. you summon it, activate foolish to get felgrand or darkblaze to the grave and wait for an attack

http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Felgrand_Dragon

This card cannot be Special Summoned except from the Graveyard and only if it was sent there from the field. When this card is Special Summoned, select 1 monster in your Graveyard. This card gains ATK equal to the Level of that monster x 200.

FAIL!!!

And no person would run Darkblaze anyway. Sure it has an effect that when it destroyes a monster in battle, it inflicts more damage, but it's ATK and DEF is lame and it's ATK and DEF will be doubled, but than the attack would only be 2400 and DEF 2000; like Red-eyes black dragon.

Anyway, this card is okay, but only base a deck around reviving GOOD dragon monsters from the graveyard, otherwise it sucks badly.

How exactly will this card ever bring back anything against an opponent that has eyes?

I run Decoy Dragon. It's a great card. If yor opponent KNOWS you've got a good card' date=' they won't attack you. It will stall your opponent for awhile (Decoy Dragon won me a couple duels too)

[/quote']

Except that you are always better off running Marshmallon/Spirit Reaper. At least those cards don't rely on having Dragons in the Graveyard to stall.

this card was made for stall for people who don't have spirit reaper and marshmallow and use dragons

If it was made for that' date=' why didn't they just make that its effect? From what I see, Konami just screwed up with this card. It was obviously meant to be able to activate its effect.

You could combne Decoy with a card that FORCES your opponent to attack. Also, DNA Surgery works well with Decoy Dragon.

Staunch Defender is about the only thing you can do with this card. But even then, why would you waste deck space just to activate Decoy's effect? There are much more reliable ways of bringing back from the Graveyard.

And what exactly would DNA Surgery do?

Use DNA Surgery to make every monster a Dragon. Add some stuff like Gilford the lightning, Neos, etc. You can bring out powerful monsters while defending. Decoy Dragon's effect is a good one if you arent a n00b and actually use it right.

When you activate this card, declare 1 Type of monster. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all face-up monsters become the Type you declared.

I'm still missing the part where it works with Decoy.

And did you just suggest adding Neos to a Dragon deck? Gliford the Lightning?

So we are back to saying that Staunch Defender and the like are the only effective cards that work with Decoy. It's too bad that Staunch only works with Decoy in a Dragon deck, and is basically a dead draw/dead card otherwise.

Place it face-down, place 1 Book of Taiyou face-down, and if your opponent attacks your face-down Decoy Dragon, activate Book of Taiyou to flip-up your decoy dragon before the Damage Step.

Eh... yeah

but you have to remember that this card is a Monster Reborn for dragons' date=' well LV7 and higher like BEWD, REBD and many others.

[/quote']

no this is stall for dragon. no one will ever attack it if there is a 7+ dragon in the grave

no, it was used as a method to get your dragons back but it serves as a stall card but isn't that good if you can destroy the monster you know your opponent will get.

Yeah, that's a pretty good one. And I don't think this causes a replay but not sure.

Book of Taiyou is also good in a dragon deck for Crush D. Gandora, because you can set him and use Book of Taiyou to get him face-up. This will stop him from self-destructing because he was never summoned, and you can still nuke!

And the card also works well with Cave Dragon, when you have a monster on your field you would set him, and when attacked you should use Book of Taiyou (if he attackes with a monster with less than 2000 atk).

* "Decoy Dragon's" effect does not cause a replay.

* "Decoy Dragon" must be face-up at the time it is declared as the target of your opponent's attacking monster or its effect will not activate.

Not to mention that Book of Taiyou is a Normal Spell, not Quickplay.

in other words, decoy dragon is a futile attempt to get advantage... the only good use that i see is that the opponent will have to spend 1 card to control it, destroy it or place it face down before attacking... and it doesn't even worth as a hand thinner...
