Zazubat
Bare with me guys, this effect is quite long, but I find it quite interesting. What do you think? Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from the hand) while you control no monsters. When you do: Place 1 Wave Counter on this card for each Spell/Trap Card you control. Once per turn, during the Battle Phase, when this card battles: You can remove any number of Wave Counters from anywhere on the field; this card gains 200 ATK and DEF for each of those Counters until the End Phase, also if you control no other monsters, if this card destroys an opponent’s monster by battle: Place 1 Counter on this card for each monster your opponent controls. Once per turn: You can Remove any number Wave Counter from anywhere on the field; inflict 400 damage to your opponent for each Wave Counter removed, but this card cannot attack this turn. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: Distribute the Wave Counters on this card among face-up monsters you control. Kyng's Old Account
Very long effect that I bared with! So, when Summoned he spreads Wave Counters on him per Spell & Trap you control. Then it allows you to oomph it by burning said counters and, so long as you control no other counters, he gains one for each monster your opponent has. Alternatively, by burning counters, 400 damage per counter. Lastly, if destroyed by battle, his counters wave over on cards you pick, which encourages you to use more of these guys.I would say that, in general terms, this guy might be somewhat weak. I love the idea of a monster who can stand on their own ground. He's also a solid Lv7 which you might be able to combo with to Rk7. By unleashing his counters he can either battle, or burn, which is good, but I feel that this guy demands a Deck around it, rather than, in turn, supporting other Decks.I do have a soft spot for Counters, and would love to see Wave Counters elsewhere! Therrion
I think it should be either an attack boosting effect, or a burn effect. Other then that, I would like him to get counters despite there being another monster alongside her. She wants allies to spread her love when she gets destroyed, but hates them when she is attacking. Me no gusta. I also like that it is a Plant, being able to be revived through Lord Poison, Gigaplant, etc. Could go as far as to make a "Wave" archetype, but the "except "Healing Wave Generator" clause would get annoying. 8.4/
Zazubat
This is random, but you're refering to the card as a him, when that's clearly a woman in the image O.o Anyway, a Wave archetype might be interesting. The idea was this to be a Burn/Attack card depending on which would cause the best outcome. Thanks for the reviews.
Therrion
I did accidently refer to her as a him once, but as a her twice, which made it obvious the first was a mistake. If you do release the Wave cards, I would be plenty interested in them and give my critique on each one. ^^
