Cannot be Special Summoned. During the End Phase of the turn that this monster is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Return it to the hand. During either player's Battle Phase, if a face-up monster was destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: Normal Summon this card, regardless of the player's turn, in addition to your regular Normal/Set. You can discard this card; this turn, you can Tribute Summon Spirit Monsters with 1 less Tribute.

[hr]

A warrior that fell in battle, his spirit lingers, lost on its way to the next world. It appears on battle fields, either taking part in the fight or surveying the release of the dead.

Okay what a weird card. Its effect triggers during either player's battle phase, but since it's a normal summon, you can't use it on your opponent's turn. Also the lore is more confusing than it needs to be. Try this:

Cannot be Special Summoned. During the End Phase of the turn that this monster is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Return it to the hand. During your Battle Phase, if a face-up monster was destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: Reveal this card in your hand; this turn, you can Normal Summon this card in addition to your regular Normal Summon/Set. You can discard this card; this turn, you can Tribute Summon Spirit Monsters with 1 less Tribute.

Back to the card, it's actually not bad but then it's not amazing. Like I said before, the first effect is a little weird, it offers Xyz Support for Spirits in a roundabout way. But its usefulness is limited by the fact that it can only be used in the Main Phase 2. So there goes that. The second effect is actually pretty good. It makes the Level 5+ Spirit monsters much easier to work with and with 2 copies you can summon them straight from the hand. using Yamata Dragon even eliminates the -1/-2 that comes with discarding this.

First off, thanks for the review! I know that you can't normally Normal Summon on your opponent's turn, but this card is the exception. I know in at least 1 of the rule book guides it says something along the lines of 'Follow the rules, but if a card breaks the rules, follow the card.' Thanks for the review and the fix!

Well in that case you should specify that you can Normal Summon it during your opponent's turn. The way it's worded makes it seem like a condition that's placed that allows you an extra normal summon, not that you're allowed to summon during your opponent's turn.

Yeah I fixed that. I think adding 'regardless of player's turn' clears it up.
