2 Level 4 monsters

Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; place 1 Wave Counter on 1 face-up monster other than this card. A monster with 1 or more Wave Counters on it gains 1000 ATK points. If a face-up monster with 1 or more Wave Counters on it is destroyed: Inflict damage to the card's controller equal to half the monster's ATK. Once, while this card is face-up on the field: You can remove all Wave Counters on the field(min. 2): this card can attack twice this turn. If a monster has 2 or more Wave Counters on it: Destroy it.

ATK upped to 2300

A being born of pure energy, this creature is extremely power...and extremely unstable. There is no telling if or when it will go nuclear, but when it does, only ashes will be left.

I made this card to enter a contest, but was beat to the punch.

The third effect is a tad overpowered. Ever hear of Thunder Crash? It's basically a 6000+ damage bomb that would be massively useful in OTK/FTK decks. I do, however, like the concept of Wave Counters. The fourth effect is solid as well, and the fifth makes for a decent restriction and balances the card out. I would absolutely love to see a Series or even Archtype built around this card.

Alright, I can see how that could get a bit op, what if I changed it to half the ATK? Thanks for the review!

A nice continuation to Wave Counters. Now to the card.

The last effect is pseudo-removal, be it slow. The 1000ATK boost is nice, but isn't it rather risky to make a generic Rank 4 have the option of 3000atk? Even if you will take 1000dmg, it's worth it.

Otherwise, I love the card. The flavor and versatility brings a smile.

I thought about making it 2 Level 4 LIGHT monsters, but didn't(obviously). Do you think that would do the trick? Or perhaps make it so that it can't put counters on itself?

Thanks for the review.

Attribute specific material is very easy, and the amount of "LIGHT specific material required" Xyz monsters is already higher than every other Attribute in Yugioh as of this moment, so the Summoning would be quite repetitive.

That being said, I think the second alternative a better than the first. If you do make it unable to target itself, give it a minor attack boost. 2300 seems like a rather nice place to be at for such an effect.

Will do. Thanks!

It is a nice, solid, generic Rank 4. A nice alternative to Utopia, but could possibly introduce a new OTK? I am not sure. But regardless, I like the card and idea of the Wave Counters. I imagine the inspiration was from Wave Motion Cannon, as made by the burn effect. I would like to see maybe an archetype based off of this. Very nice.
