Nathanael D. Striker
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 EARTH monster from your Graveyard. During either player's turn, if a monster's effect would be activated: You can change this card to Defense Position; negate that activation, and if you do, destroy that monster. You can only use the effect of "Ancient Beast of Stone" once per turn. I was torn between having it change to Defense Position for its effect and having it just change it's battle position. I went with the former since it was safer. Anyway, CnC?
L0SS
Nice image is nice. Firstly, it's good to see some Rock support. It has decent stats, and a solid summoning effect. The effect negation is where it gets interesting. The change to defense position is a simple and effective mechanic, and the fact that it has to be in attack position to make use of it means there is skill involved in said negation. I personally would give it more defense, around 2400; but it's up to you. I think destroying the monster is fine; and makes this a rather powerful and formidable card. It gives Rock-types a shove in the right direction; what with the control aspect. As a card, I like it; and I think that the switch to defense makes it more balanced, if a little less easy to use. Good stuff.
Nathanael D. Striker
Thank you very much for the review. I'm going to leave it at 2200 DEF, considering I think that is fair enough with 2000 ATK as well.
I'mAGirl
@Striker this is a really good card, you must have worked hard on it.
Nathanael D. Striker
The only thing that I had to work hard on was deciding between change battle positions or change to Defense Position for that cost. XD Anyway, more reviews?

jeramigamer
Would not only work great in rock type decks but also in earth decks. Not to mention if u have enough earth monsters in graveyard you could bring a 2nd or 3rd of these out to make a quick high rank xyz summon after you use thier effects
Nathanael D. Striker
Okay jerami, anything to say about the effect itself? Anyway, any other reviews?
jeramigamer
Being able to not only interrupt your opponents effect monster but destroy it at a vital time in the duel could be a game changer . plus 2200 def will keep it as a defense for few turnsAnd if u would have went with just change any position it would have made it op'd
Therrion
I like that it only negates Effect Monsters. Of course, this being on the field just makes it so they won't be using Monster Effects until they get an answer to this card. I also like that a casual player would freak out at the Synchro/Xyz capabilities this card has. Completely outshines Gigantes, but I can kind of see why. You really want this card being over the 1900 threshold that is home to cards like Rai-Oh. My only complaint is it doesn't say the monster's effect has to be activated on the field. For just a single banish, to stop hand effects and graveyard effects, be it only once a turn, is a little much. Also, the 2200 DEF makes it so if they fodder something for the card to negate, a follow up Cyber Dragon/Photon Thrasher won't do jack.
