A nomi that requires a 2 Tribute monster. Why would you not just run Blue-Eyes instead of this? It's pure crap, it got nothing else to it, no other effects, it's not worth anything at all. Give it a proper effect, otherwise, just no.

Well, not really what I meant. While it is nice that it's basically imune to traps on the Summon, that doesn't mean that I would want to Summon it. Make it stronger. It deserves more than what it requires to get out. But also don't make it too overpowered either. Find a balance.

Well, I did say effect. ATK and DEF stats arn't really important, as this already runs over much stuff, so that really isn't all that important. If you gave it a clause like this one, it could become a nice beater that can't die too easily: "If this card would be destroyed by your opponent's card (either battle or by a card effect), you can banish 1 "Dark Magician" card or "Light Magician" in your Graveyard instead."

I would never see this in a Deck at all.

 

Dark Magician doesn't have enough support to start with. The meta hates tributing so tributing to summon Dark Magician then tributing Dark Magician just makes this card stupid + it's effect is not even significant what so ever.

My fixes to card:

 

ATK/ 2500  DEF/ 2100

You can Special Summon this card, (from your hand), by banishing 1 "Dark Magician" from your hand or Graveyard. During the turn this card was Special Summoned: Negate the effects of all your opponent's Spell and Trap card. Any battle damage this card inflicts the turn it was summoned is halved.

A rip of Arcanite Magician's picture, but that is acceptable.

I side with the above posts. Weaken it, make it easier to Summon, and add protection to it. With a banishing cost, the banishing to protect it balances it, for it won't have as much ammo as it would had before. I don't think it should have 2500 ATK, but 2800 seems good. So:

"Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Banish 1 "Dark Magician" from your side of the field or your Graveyard: Special Summon this card (from your hand). Your opponent cannot activate Trap cards the turn this card is Summoned. If this card would be destroyed, you can banish 1 "Dark Magician" or "Light Magician" from your hand or Graveyard instead."
