This card cannot be used as Xyz Material except by its own effect. You can target 1 Xyz Monster on the either side of the field that has atleast 1 Xyz Material attached to it: Detach 1 Xyz Material from it and Special Summon this card from your hand. If a face-up Xyz Monster you control would be destroyed, you can negate its destruction and attach this card as Xyz Material to the Xyz Monster that would be destroyed. You can only control 1 face-up "Overlay Guardian."

Well Overlay Guardian has a much better effect than Overlay Guardian Knight. Overal Guardian is a better design. It's even nicer that you used  a better template xD

Great xyz effects. This card could be universally playable . But even more so it would be a staple card in a warrior deck and the low defense imo keeps it from being over powered

I love the effects, and this one is definently better imo.

I like Xyz hate in general, I think it needs some. I like that it both hates, and protects your own (I say this infering you detach 1 of theirs, not 1 of yours).

Perhaps 2500 is a bit much for such a Summon, though? I wouldn't suggest anything lower then 2400, but I believe 2400 seems more suiting for a card like this.
