What Card of Sanctity Should Have Been

LORE: You can only activate this card during your End Phase. Both players draw until they both hold 6 cards.

Basically, you get your 6 cards, but you have to wait until next turn to use them. And before you do, you must get past a turn of your opponent having a 7 card hand (6 plus a draw phase). Better than what they made Card of Sanctity to be in real life...

They wanted to avoid plus 6/7's via the use of one card. I think, if anything, it would be:

Normal Spell Card

"You can only activate this card during your Main Phase 1. Banish all cards on your side of the field: Both players draw until they have 5 cards, then it becomes the End Phase of this turn."

As for the card, you have a Wicked Wingweaver, so I imagine it's a Quick Play that has the Lore on it.

What the hell is with the picture? >_>

The problem with any "Card of Sanctitiy" type card is the same problem as with Morphing Jar. People are just gonna set their entire s/t line up, play as recklessly as possible, and then get a do-over when both players draw.

An effect would just encourage people to play as poorly as possible, since they know they'll be rewarded with more cards to draw from their deck, and more options in their s/t zone.

Yep, I agree with you Hatcher. That's why I said to banish all cards on your side of the field. Morphing Jar makes players reckless and plus far to much for yet another card out there to have similar or better capabilities. While it also makes you have to live a turn vs. your opponent's hand, that's not very hard to do. You plus up to 6 while your opponent will probably plus only 3 or similar amount to that.
