Not-so-Radiant Arin
Once per turn, when you set a Spell or Trap card: You can select 1 face-up Spell or Trap Card on your opponent's side of the field and destroy it. If you use this effect: You cannot play Spell or Trap cards this turn. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle; Target 1 Spell Card in your Graveyard: Return it to the Deck and Shuffle.
The original intent of this card in CT (Crisis Termina) was to lock down Spell plays by buffing itself whenever a Spell is played. Obviously, mechanics are different from game to game, and increasing your ATK when a Spell is played is stupid, if at all meaningless. So I decided to take a more aggressive approach to see how things would turn out; it's Breaker on steroids. Hopefully, I've counterbalanced it enough so that it isn't a broken mess, but I'm not sure...
Zazubat
I don't normally say this, but really, you should probably take a look at my OCG Thread, because there's too many things wrong about this card, that I cannot begin to count. Now, I am normally not a fan of cards that pop cards extreamly easily, but since you basically limit yourself to not being able to use any other Spells/Traps, and it is only for face-ups, it actually ends up being pretty meh. I mean, in a not very Spell/Trap heavy deck it could work well, but since it's Spellcaster, that kinda speaks for itself doesn't it? That said, the other effect is quite nice, not insanely overpowered, as it requires you to either crash into a monster, or wait for your opponent to do the same, so you would have to set this card, which kinda defeats the purpose of the first effect, so it balances it out quite well. Now, for the OCG. I'm giving you a more complex analysis of the wording than I would normally do, as I see that you're clearly not up to date on it at all. Once per turn, when you set (not capitalized) Spell or Trap (should be "Spell/Trap" instead) card (not capitalized): You can select (should be "target") 1 face-up Spell or Trap (same as before) Card on your opponent's side of the field (should be "your opponent controls) and destroy it. (no semi-colon, there is ALWAYS a semi-colon when you target) If you use this effect: (this effect doens't activate, conditions never activate) You cannot play Spell or Trap cards this turn. (should have "The Big Cattle Drive" clause instead) When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle (should be "When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard" instead); (semi-colons indicate targeting or costs, and they are never before colons) Target 1 Spell Card in your Graveyard: (again, wrong placement, colons indicate a condition, in your case, the conditon is that the monster needs to be destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, also, colons are never after semi-colons) Return it to the Deck and Shuffle. (should be "Shuffle it into the Deck" instead.) Fixed: Once per turn, when you Set a Spell/Trap Card: You can target 1 face-up Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; destroy it. You cannot activate Spell/Trap Cards or effects during the turn you use this effect. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: Target 1 Spell Card in your Graveyard; shuffle that it into the Deck.
Therrion
I agree. The card is rather "meh", considering it is only for face-up cards. However, I must say that if stall burn ever somehow becomes competitive (or is at someones Locals/Playgroup), then this card would be an amazing side card that would wipe the floor with them. Other then that, I don't believe Crystal Beasts will make a competitive turn for the better, so this card doesn't have many decks where you would benefit enough to justify the running of this card.
