Zazubat
So, my newest idea for an Archetype, this one is about negating effects, except when they battling. They're of course gonna feature more than just that, but that's the basics of it. Probably gonna be a Synchro/Xyz-cross this time around I think, not sure yet though. I'm also thinking of having cards you control gain benefits from being negated due to Spells/Traps. They already kind of have, since all their effects are going to be based apon them battling, but in another way. Not sure how I'm going to handle it yet, but as said, this is just the sketch for it. The name's a portmanteau of Dark and Absence. If the only monsters in your Graveyard are DARK monsters, when this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can send this card to the Graveyard; change the battle position of 1 monster on the field, and if you do, that card’s effects are negated, except when it battles. Therrion
It is a rather simple card. I guess I can see it breaking some wall situations, like if you want to clear a Utopia with a Cyber Dragon or break a "Cannot be destroyed by Battle" wall. Other then that, I would be interested to see what it brings to the archetype's table. If the whole archetype is suicidal, I could imagine it being weak as a whole, but the effect negating is interesting to an extent. All in all, however, I think this card is fine as a single.
