This is Pop in Finland

This isn't really pop though... the song is kinda awful though, the constants singer changes, it doens't go well with the tempo of the song, the male "growler" I suppose you can call him is dreadful, and the female singer doesn't show any compasion, except for the chorus which is alright. It provides an alright guitar solo at the end, but it isn't extreamly interesting, and seems out of place. I don't listen to much rock/metal etc. anymore, though this song isn't really all that interesting, and the guitar seems like it wants to take over the song. Maybe that's how that genre is now, or maybe that's just the general Finnish sound? I don't dig the song.

EDIT: 1 good thing I can say is that the music video is well produced.

It's actually a joke, consider that Finland is one of the prime countries for Metal. And that the band itself actually mixes in several aspects, such as pop, with Metal. And I never found the changing singers a problem. In fact, I favor it well. I love the harsh vocals, and I feel that the female vocalist expresses a lot of compassion outside of the chorus. You don't find it interesting, I find it amazing. And I can't find out where the guitar 'wants to take over' the song. I find it adequately synced with the rest of the instruments. The funny thing is about that question, talking about general Finnish sound, is that it's completely out of place. Finland has a wide variety of genres of Metal, so to say that this is a general Finnish sound is quite.... I can't really put that into words. You don't dig it. Oh well. Your loss.

Though we can agree that the video is well produced. That's something.

I'm not exactly the metalhead I used to be, that might have something to do with it.
