Ren✧
FLIP: Special Summon 2 Toon Monsters with the same name from your hand or Deck. The Special Summoned monsters have their effects negated and cannot be used as Xyz Material monsters. Destroy the Special Summoned monsters at the start of your next Battle Phase. You can only activate the effect of "Toy Chest" once per turn.
Therrion
Left alone, it turns into a pretty full proof Synchro plan. Other then that, it provideds Tributes for the Summoning of Blue-Eyes or Summoned Skull, and free fodder for your Meteor Toon Dragon. The card is really, insanely well balanced due to the Xyz Cock Block and the fact that entering the Battle Phase will cause a self destruct. Great work on this one. I don't really have much else too say. I feel like I'm missing stuff but, eh. Works well with La Toon (Yep, stickin with dat frenchie name) in the fact that you could purposely self destruct them to have one become Toon World, while the other just dies off or becomes Tribute fodder for Summoned Skull/other ways. I was afraid that it might break the Toons, so the Xyz cock block was definitely necessary. Yeah, while it makes for lovely Synchro shenanigans, going into the Meteor Toon Dragon is probably the most preferable choice. What do you mean you feel like you are missing something? If you are looking for some innovative thing with this card, there really isn't one here this time. Just a competitive addition to the Toon Monsters. Thanks for the review! Therrion
When a card interests me, I always feel like there is something I'm not pointing out, bad habit XD I didn't mention, but it is a nice way of stopping an OTK or aggressive push. Not so agressive vs. 2 Blue-Eyes Toon Dragons! And oh yeah, the Xyz Cock Block was definently needed, and would've been bad design had you excluded it. Well originally, the card wasn't a tuner and was just a flip effect monster, that summoned the monsters out and could be used for all sorts of nefarious, and broke, plays. But was not eager to turn a virtually unusable archetype into another Elemental Dragon-esque broken rage-causing arcchetype. And yeah, can create quite the offensive wall if your opponent takes it out. Now I need to create a level 10 Synchro that can utilize this guy to his fully potential. Therrion
It'd be interesting to give the Synchro different effects based on the number of non-Tuner Toons used. That way, with Blue-Eyes it could make it but it'd have a weaker effect then when used with two non-Tuner Toons (of the Lv. 4 variant, ofc).
