When an opponent's monster declares an attack: Special Summon 1 monster from your deck in Defense Position.

Forcing the card to only activate during the Battle Phase and forcing the Special Summoned monster into Defense Position is good for trying to balance this card, but there is still a problem with the whole idea of being able to Special Summon practically anything. That is, there is really no telling what the user may use it on. You could, for example, use it to Special Summon Gorz or BEWD, both of which have a sort-of nice DEF score for stopping your opponent followed with either a Level that you could use for Extra Deck shenanigans or its ATK for running over your opponent's monsters. Or you could use it to Special Summon Marshmallon, which will highly likely stop your opponent's Battle Phase right then and there (granted, Nova Summoner can do this too, but this just has more options and doesn't eat a Summon).

 

With the potential to Special Summon about any Maindeck monster in existence without any limits to what can be Summoned leaves the players to think of potentially crazy combos that could end up frustrating their opponents. As it is, it is a really dangerous card that could become gamebreaking once somebody finds the right combo (such as Rescue Rabbit and Sabersaurus, though that is a lot tamer now than it was before) and I really think there should be a restriction on the monster you can get with this effect to avoid such a situation.

Hello there.  I see you made a card and (compared to other new members of this site), it's actually very decent.  First, I will go over OCG where you may have skipped:

 

1)  "Deck" is capitalized and... that's it.

 

Though, now I will say what is wrong with the card:

 

The ability to Special Summon any monster from your Deck that can be Special Summoned puts it on the overpowered side.  Sure, your opponent must attack for it to trigger.  However, if you reduced the number of targets that this card affects, then it would be balanced.

 

Overall, this is a nice card.  8.5/10

The card is just too easy for what it does. Just add some sort of cost, or a limit (be it a Level, ATK, DEF, something).

Otherwise, fine card ya got there.
