been getting lightly dead hands where my choices are just like one or two plays. any suggestions on this build?

Hi there! I see your deck here and i think the point is to get lots of CBs out and xyz right? If so you need to do a couple things. First you have to understand that you have way too many spells that are focused on the old style of CB. You don't need all of them just because they are related to CB. I'd suggest keeping the field spell to a max of 2 and more likely to one because it just becomes a dead draw and you don't really need it. You also need to watch your monster list. With almost all the CBs present in your deck at 3 for everything you will get dead draws with bad monsters. the summoner monk solves that issue fairly well actually, but yeah the monster lineup does sometimes get stale and give only and xyz out as an answer

In my opinion:

-1 Ruby Carbuncle (3 is too much, generally you want this in backrow)

-3 A. Cat (bad)

-1 Crystal Beacon (same with Carbuncle except you mostly want to summon carbuncle of pegasu with this)

-2 Rare Value (3 is too much)

 

Also, maybe cut down on traps, traps are dead since you need back row for CBs. Maybe cut Mirror Forces, or a good trap for the deck is Horn of the Phantom Beast.

 

+2 Forbidden Lance (protection)

+3 Terraforming (since you run the field spell)

+2 MST

 

These are just a couple of suggestions, i play a crystal beast that is mostly for xyz and i run malefics in it as well, but test out a couple things see if you like it. Since you use Birdman, try out Zeman the Ape King in you extra deck (unless you already do, i cna't tell since the pictures are a bit small).

I actually think you're kind of hurting yourself by running Synchros, especially since you only have the three tuners. Instead, go full Xyz. Drop the Birdmans AND Synchros, run Chain Dogs and 5 million Rank 4s.
