You can Special Summon this card (from your hand before any Chain resolves) when a monster would be sent from the field to the Graveyard (by battle or by card effect). You can only Special Summon 1 "The Morrigan" this way per turn. When this card leaves the field (by battle or by card effect): Target 1 monster on the field; send it to the Graveyard.

A rather easy to Summon Lv. 7 beater who takes something with it. I don't see the point in making it state "before any chain resolves", but I guess it could jump in on a Torrential and destroy a S/T, though that isn't very ideal (though I guess is a nice option to have)/Mirror Force to destroy atleast 1 monster of theirs. I like that you can't trigger the last effect from Synchro/Xyz (unless the detach of the Xyz isn't a cost, which rarely happens and has yet to to my knowledge with any Rk. 7 Xyz Monster), and the Summon itself isn't so easy to force whenever you want (making it a somewhat conditional Summon). It can stop OTKs nicely, and provide a surprise beater in an already winning situation.

Though, this is the second card today that you have made "send" as opposed to "destroy". While I know destroy has lost alot of power, being a card maker and just slapping "send" on everything as opposed to destroying is somewhat dull. Just because cards get protection doesn't mean the card maker should be stubborn and start slapping on things to their cards to get around them (atleast, it comes off that way design wise). Destroying would be fine, and if you really wanted to, destroying and making the effect not able to be chained to/negated would be okay also (so Soul Drain/effects that negate effects that target, etc. don't stop it).

Nice to see you back after a while. Haven't seen a card from you since I've returned, I don't believe.

"Send" was mostly put on for flavour on these cards, and I left it as that cuz it did make them more usable. When someone is dying of noxious fumes, it's not like they explode and get destroyed, rather the poison creeps in, they collapse and lose all strength, choke, the gas turns their internals to mush, and they die, though for Fumes, it did require it for more viability. The Morrigan I saw her as just taking your soul than using physical attacks, so it also used send. But, it gives it viability as well, it's a slow 1-4-1 card removal, what if I made it "cards" instead of "monster" and then changed the "send" to a "destroy"?

The removing of soul is often interpreted as being banished/removed from play. Flavor wise, I completely agree with the Fumes sending.

If I sounded offensive, I in no way intended it (though it doesn't seem like you took offense), I was moreso seeing if I was assuming right. I guess banishing would be more lethal then sending, and if it's for the sake of flavour and justified by that said flavour, then I guess it's fine to send. Makes the card that much better, anyways, so well done.
