Ren✧
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can place 1 Wave Counter a face-up monster. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a Spell Card is activated: You can place 1 Wave Counter on a face-up monster. Monsters with 1 or more Wave Counters on them gain 300 ATK points for each Wave Counter. During each player's End Phase: Destroy all face-up monsters with 3 or more Wave Counters on them. Then, inflict damage to the destroyed monster(s) controller equal to its Level x300. If this monster declares an attack on a monster with a Wave Counter on it: The attack target's effects are negated while on the field and in the Graveyard until the End Phase of this turn. Therrion
I really like it. You get a bonus for giving your opponent an ATK boost, and cannot boost him too much unless you want to lose a card and burn. The forced counter placement hurts him alot, as if he is the only monster and already has obtained a counter or two, they will just give him so much power he burns out, but I like the flavor in that regard. You could perhaps up the counter of burn out, but that would make using the ability offensively less potent... Overall, it is really creative and flavorful, but lacks playability. Though, I remember other Wave Counter cards you made (rather, the fact you made others), so this could help them aside from the fact he blows them up, which kind of makes this guy a standalone, risky card. Ren✧
Actually on the Wave Counter cards blow Wave Victimes up. I am just testing the idea for an archetype. I might add a bonus to some of the monsters if they are destroyed by the effect of a "-Wave" monster. I honestly didn't mean to make the counter placement mandatory. So unless you think it would break the card, I think I will probably change it to an optional effect. Thanks for the review, Ther!
Therrion
It would make the card far less risky, so by all means you should change it. I think having it as a more controlled effect would help the card so your opponent doesn't force a self destruct.
