Generic 2-Mat Rank 1

Wanted to make an actually good 2-Material Rank 1 monster. Might be too good though.

2 Level 1 monsters
Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 2 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; its effects are negated, it cannot attack and it is destroyed during your opponent's next turn's End Phase. This card cannot attack while the target is on the field.

While I do not agree that you should give Rank 1s a 2100 beater, who really cares? It's not really what they're meant to do, and you did put a restriction on it anyway, so I can accept it for now. Well, it's decent. I still think we should have something that could make Rank 1s better, but if you can do it, this is probably good in it. The double detach is balanced, since we now have stuff that detach one of your materials, so it can screw it up. Warrior is cool, so it has a lot of support to it.

OCG fix: None, and for that you get Zazu's Zeal of Approval.

I dunno, I just liked 2100 ATK. I suppose it should be 1700-1900 ATK though.

It has a nice drawback and effect. The 2100 seems questionable as far as we've seen for the Rank, but it doesn't matter to me all too much. The utility is brings for dealing with a monster is nice, and certainly sticks to the "Rank 1 = Utility" sort of feel the Rank seems to have thus far. Nice one, Aix.

I might lower it to 1900 or 1800 as 1800 is an ATK tier and 2000 is less so.

You can keep it as it is, I just don't really like the fact that 2 Level 1 monsters, the weakest monsters in the game, can bring out something that's suppose to be stronger than a Level 4 monster. But that's just me, it doesn't matter when you actually play it though.

I think this card is fine, in fact, it's pretty much spot on. The attack is perfectly pitched, in my opinion. If you think about it, Level 1 monsters are no easier to summon than Level 4 monsters. In fact Level 4s have far more support and spamability than Level 1s, so this is a just pay off for bothering to run a Level 1 centric deck in the first place. The negation effect is strong, which is nice, and the two material cost, along with the monster being unable to attack, makes it a really good thing for Level 1s to have.

Great stuff.
