Zappahcracker
This is my first time posting a card, but not my first card made. Even so, I probably have made mistakes here or there, but I figured I'd try here rather than jumping straight into the Realistic Cards section. So here we go! This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. You can Special Summon this card by tributing up to 3 Fiend-type monsters you control and cannot be Special Summoned by other effects. This monster's ATK is 1200 x the number of cards tributed to summon it. I'm not actually sure how to add the box underneath that allows you to show or hide the text, so I just used a quote for the effect text. Well there you have it, the Galaxy Slime. The picture, if you find it familiar, is actually the Orthros hunt monster from Final Fantasy XII. Edit: Here's a different version of the card to be a little more useful. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. You can Special Summon this card by Tributing up to 3 Fiend-type monsters you control and cannot be Special Summoned by other effects. This monster's ATK is 1200 x the number of cards Tributed to summon it. Once per turn, you can reduce this card's level by 1 and increase its ATK or DEF by 300. Zappahcracker
I just had a thought. It is a level 7 monster, but can be brought out by tributing 1 monster. I'm not super familiar with the competitive scene or anything, but maybe it'd be too easy to bring out rank 7 xyz monsters with this. Perhaps I should fix the effect text to say something like: "This card's level is 3 when 1 card is tributed, 5 when 2 are tributed, and 7 when 3 are tributed." It may not even matter, but just a little thought I had.
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Fiend-Type monsters aren't really all that good at making Rank 7 monsters when compared to the likes of the notorious Decks that can bring them out easily. But if you don't feel that safe with it being a Level 7 monster that can be brought out in a SS by Tributing one monster, then meh, whatever. However, the Level for Tributing one monster should be 5, rather than 3, should you choose to do so. As for the card, 1200 ATK for each monster Tributed will usually scam you out of possible damage output, Extra Deck Summons, and effects. 1200 ATK can hardly run over anything. 2400 ATK is ok, but not worth losing 2 monsters for it. 3600 is pretty nice, but it is outclassed completely by the two Arcana Force EX monsters. Therefore, the only real reason to run this would be for Xyz Summoning (or perhaps Synchro Summoning, but Xyzs are more dominant), which is why the Level is really important to this card. Even then, being Level 7 just doesn't work all that well for Fiend-themed Decks. Level 3 makes it outclassed by... well... any Level 3 monster you can NS most of the time. Level 5 would make it outclassed by Instant Fusioning into Barox. Right now, this is just an outclassed beatstick that could be used for some Xyz Summons. It needs some other effect that helps out your Deck other than being a monster-eating Level 7 monster.
Zappahcracker
Yeah, I figured as much, so I made the variation. He can reduce his level every turn, making him more flexible for Synchro and Xyz summoning, and he gains a permanent ATK or DEF boost each time. So for 1 tribute you have a 2300 DEF monster that can boost to 2600 or higher, or a 1200 to 1500, 2400 to 2700, or even a 3600 to 3900 ATK monster. It isn't the most amazing thing in the world, but it is meant to be a stand alone monster. To be honest, my favorite part is the flavour. Galaxy Slime! And he's all star-filled and cosmic, it just oozes awesome for me. Maybe I can drum up some Fiend support for him that would have effects that activate when tributed to work with him. We'll see. Thanks for the response!
Zappahcracker
A few variations: You can Special Summon this card by Tributing 3 face-up "Slime" monsters you control. If this card would be destroyed by a Spell or Trap card, you can negate the activation and destroy it. Once per turn. you can banish this card and 2 other cards from the field until the End Phase. You can Special Summon this card by Tributing up to 3 "Slime" monsters you control. Then, increase this card's ATK and DEF by 900 for each Tribute used to Summon it. This card gains 500 ATK and DEF each time a "Slime" monster is Tributed.
