You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Xyz Monster you control that requires 3 or more Xyz Materials as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and declare either cards in your opponent's hand, field, or Graveyard and Banished Zone; the effects of cards where you have declared are negated and cannot be activated, until the end of your opponent's next turn.[hr]Flavour Music - Vs. A powerful, power-hungry beast, she feeds on the essence of the beings of her foes. Eager to devour them whole, yet patient enough to prepare to dine, the Slime Dragon of Gluttonous Drain is the very essence of the force of Draining. Bestowing a former King the power to best a rival, her great and potent power is a force indeed to be reckoned with.
 
This card was delayed in order for me to do the update to my latest cards, as well as provide this card a 'newer' status compared to said other cards. Anyway, I figured I'd have a crack at creating the tie between the Drain Cards, as well as provide them a stronger source to be used from who can also bolster more versatility. Interesting note, she can make use of Chaos Xyz Evolution on Spark Master - she loves lockdown.

Balance/Playability

Well, it is really powerful. Feels too powerful, to be honest. I like that it can stop Graveyard/Banished Zone at once, and stopping hand effects is great also, but stopping any and all effects on your opponent's field is too good. Shock Master atleast stops you from using them too, ensuring that locking down the opponent's monsters makes your MP2 at the very least monster effect free, or locking Traps gives your opponent a turn of action without fear of traps. Shock Master also doesn't reach the 2500 threshold this guy does.

 

Flavour/Originality

I can't comment on the flavour as I don't know what "Drain" cards you are referring too, but the card is original, a different take on Shock Master.

 

Suggestions/Additional Comments

Well, first off, I don't believe he deserves the different way to be Xyz Summoned and probably needs 3 materials himself. Alternatively, make the lock down of effects on field have a more narrow scope, hitting only monsters instead of all three (Monsters, Spells, and Traps). To keep that other way of Summoning, perhaps you could make his effects impact both players, stopping further effects from you aswell. I just feel like this guy needs some major balancing, and is definitely something I would never want to see released to Yu-Gi-Oh!
