BatMed
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned by banishing 1 Reptile-Type "Cosmic" monster from your graveyard. Once per turn: You can place 2 A-Counters on all face-up monsters your opponent controls. (If a monster with an A-Counter battles an "Alien" monster, it loses 300 ATK and DEF for each A-Counter during damage calculation only.) This card gains 900 ATK for each A-Counter on the field. When this card destroys an opponent's monster with A-Counters by battle: This card gains 200 ATK for each A-Counter that was on that card. When this card is destroyed: You can Special Summon up to 2 of your banished "Alien" monsters. You can only control 1 "Cosmic Fear Goc'Amr". Therrion
Balance/Playability It can be Summoned easily via the amount of dumping Reptiles have, but Snake Rain is a bad card in general so that wouldn't be advised anyways. The conditions are too much, requiring running Overlord/Mother in a decent number. Mother, of whom sucks, and Overlord, of which shouldn't be ran as a playset but moreso a 3 of if that. Aliens are also a more controling archetype, considering their Synchro Monster, and that should be taken into account. This is a straight up beatdown monster, which punishes the player for killing the opponent's monsters off (as most likely during their turn this guy will be a 0/2500 in Attack Position since you'll be killing what you put Counters on, or they'll be Synchro/Xyz Summoning up the wazoo). Overall, a bad beatdown card. Flavour/Originality The name is lame and doesn't really apply to anything. Why does it have to be Nocturnal? Who is to say Aliens even have a sun? Who is to say all Aliens aren't already Nocturnal? Just because it has a black body doesn't mean it has to be nocturnal. Blader is just uncreative. The fact it is DARK is cool, as the Lv. 6 Aliens are DARK themselves, so it makes sense. The counter placing is as to be expected from an Alien, so no original points there, but the ATK increase hasn't been done for the archetype so it is ever so slightly original (though going a beater route is dull and boring). Suggestions/Additional Comments I've been harsh thus far, but harshness helps build. As I've said, the Level 6 Aliens aren't even all that great, and forcing a high number to be ran for a boss is a bad idea. Perhaps just require any 2 Aliens. Come to think of it, why would you want to banish the Aliens? Most Alien Decks I know run Evil Dragon anyways, which benefits from the banishing of Aliens, so this reducing her ammo is unwise, or stopping Ammonite ammo/Viper's Rebirth targets. Perhaps by banishing a "Cosmic" Reptile-Type monster from your Graveyard would work? It would not only be easier by leaps and bounds, but still require some work to accomplish and not hurt Evil Dragon as much. To add on, instead of going a blind beater route, add some oomph to the card, as right now it is bland beyond all recognition. Perhaps instead of ? ATK, make it have 0 ATK, and gain 900ATK for each A-Counter, then you could allow it to build up, exg. :"When this card destroy's an opponent's monster with A-Counters by battle: This card gains 200 ATK for each A-Counter that was on that card." I'll go ahead and throw out a suggestion effect. Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Can only be Special Summoned by banishing 1 Reptile-Type "Cosmic" monster from your Graveyard.
