This card cannot be destroyed in battle bymonsters with 2200 or more ATK. You take no damage from battles involving this card. Once per turn, when this card attacks an opponent's monster: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to half this card's original ATK. This card gains 200 ATK for each XyzMaterial attached to it. During each of your End Phases: Detach 1 XyzMaterial from this card.
Pretty much a more offensive Zenmaines while getting the idea from a "re-trained Obnoxious Celtic Guardian". I wish I had more to say here, but I'm tired and I haven't eaten in like two days. CnC.
Zazubat
Effect & Use: I like Tiras-like cards, and this one is no different in that regard, it balances it out where it needs to, and is generally pretty useful. It got battle immunity, but not effect, so it can be taken out, where Zen cannot that easily. That said, it doesn't blow anything up either, which is alright. I kind of dislike how when it attacks, it both of cannot be destroyed, but always inflicts 1100 on top of its high ATK for a Rank 4. But, it isn't horribly unbalanced, it would be if it was half of its ATK always, making it OTK-centric. The ATK gain makes it EEV target, though since you lose that at the end of the turn, it isn't that useful for it, since you want to use EEV during your opponent's turn.Design/Balance: The only think I sort of worry about is the 1100 burn it can provide. It isn't horribly unbalanced, though since it unlike Cowboy can both attack and deal damage, it will make Cowboy useless in most cases.Flavor/Image and Originality: Not quite sure what it has to do with brilliance at all, though I like the art quite a bit. DARK makes little sense to me though, it looks more light either EARTH or LIGHT. It isn't that original, a Tiras-Cowboy-Zen put into one, but it isn't bland either, and how it is put together works fine to me.Overall: It is decent. I think other staples Rank 4s will come before it, but if you normally run Cowboy, you can run this instead of it. And it is another EEV target if you need another one. I think the no battle damage is unneeded, and I don't personally like the 1100 damage when it attacks, though it doesn't break it either. 7/10 OCG fix: None, and for that you get Zazu's Zeal of Approval (you do have some typos though, like "bymonsters" and "XyzMaterial", but I don't consider those OCG problems) My Version(s): This card's effects can only be applied/resolved while it has Xyz Material. This card cannot be destroyed in battle by monsters with 2200 or more ATK. Once per turn, when this card attacks an opponent's monster: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to half this card's original ATK. This card gains 200 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to it. During each of your End Phases: Detach 1 Xyz Material from this card.
Therrion
Balance/Playability A generic Rank 4 monster that can peak at 2600ATK for a single turn, breaking the 2500 threshold that Gem-Knight Pearl breaks. The battle immunity is nice, and has its downfall (like if this card is to go into Defense Position), which is a nice addition. The burn is bigger then it should be, as burning for over 1/8th of beginning life point total just for attacking (most likely something weaker or something that can't kill this girl by battle) is a bit too much, especially since she gets to do it twice in her life time (if she lives a turn, which is somewhat likely since she has some form of protection). She would, as Zazu said, go to replace Cowboy, and in my eyes, Pearl as well (since Pearl usually dies in a turn since he offers no protection to himself, whereas this card offers some). Flavour I straight up disagree with the DARK Attribute. It looks like a LIGHT/EARTH monster entirely, her sword and name suggesting LIGHT also. The name is kind of dull also, perhaps adding a synonym or something for Brilliance, like Resplendent, would do to make the name more interesting (though this hardly matters). Suggestions/Additonal Comments -Reduce the burn. (Too much burn, 800 being the soft spot for burn) -Change when the burn occurs. (Realisticly, a card would apply such an effect after/during battle, not declaration) -Change the Attribute. (Current one makes no sense and has no relation to picture) -Don't allow her to break the 2500 threshold (2300 original ATK and 100 boost would be better) I just don't feel like we should make Xyz Monsters that straight up replace others with specific purposes already made, and this replacing two of them is pretty dumb. The reduced burn would make players have to question going into Cowboy or her, since Cowboy can do it defensively and without charging in, and not reaching 2600atk would still leave Pearl some love. You may go on to say with the changes it would be weak, well, that isn't true. It'd be strong, just not overly strong. It'd be far more realistic, in my eyes. To counterbalance some of this, you could add another effect, but that would just seem like clunky card design. Good card, however, I agree with Zazu in the fact I enjoy Tiras-esque cards.
