[spoiler=LORE: (since apparently it's mandatory)]If your opponent activates a Monster Card effect, or declares an attack target with a monster he or she controls: You can reveal this card in your hand; destroy the monster that your opponent uses for attack declaration or for the effect. This card remains revealed to your opponent until it is removed from your hand. While this card is revealed to your opponent: Special Summon it (from your hand) in Attack Position during your next Standby Phase. Its ATK and DEF halved, and it must attack, if able. This card cannot be used as an Xyz Material Monster during this turn's Main Phase 1.[/spoiler] Basically it's a Level 9 hand trap that SS's itself after it's done its job; not whilst doing it like Gorz and Battle Fader. Weak against Dragged Down into the Grave and Card Destruction, but works with Inferno Reckless Summon for an instant Heart-eartH Dragon. ... C&C must be constructive, but apart from that I have no problem with feedback. So... yeah, like it or hate it I guess :/ CHANGES: Changed the hand trap effect so it only destroys. This card no longer outclasses Effect Veiler as a result, since the effect of the destroyed monster should go through in most cases. It also makes it useless against monsters that [acronym='(COUGH) Rescue Rabbit (GOUGH)]sacrifice themselves for their effects anyway[/acronym]. I've also made it harder to achieve that turn's instant Rank 9, with the side effects I added along with the mandatory drop like Aix suggested. This card remains revealed to your opponent until the End Phase of your next turn. While this card is revealed to your opponent: You can Special Summon it (from your hand). Its ATK and DEF halved until the End Phase. Picture: 4 Card's effect: 64 Card's balance: 48 Atk & Def: 6 View: 11 *OVERALL: 5.3/10* Suggested effect: Once per turn, when an opponent's monster declares an attack: you can reveal this card in your hand to negate the attack. Aix Posted August 17, 2013 Report Share Posted August 17, 2013 A +1 effect and attack negation hand trap that can either Special Summon a Level 9 for fodder for Heart-eartH and Dyson Sphere or remain in the hand to be reused is a very, very, very, very bad idea. Effect Veiler is already amazing for being a -1 effect negation, this beats it in terms of card advantage, reusability, versatility and surprise non-targeting destruction which makes it nigh unstoppable. Really the biggest problem is the card advantage and the fact that it can be reused, balance out the card advantage to being a -1 and make the Special Summon mandatory as well as in Attack Position and it will be fine. But it would create a lockdowm of sorts which... I forget how strong they are :/ ... But anyway, most of these issues are addressed with the fixes I made.
