AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Target 1 monster on your side of the field; send that target to the Graveyard and take damage equal to half of its DEF. Its effect(s) is negated while in the Graveyard. During this turn, you can return the target to the field (this is a Quick Effect), then, if the monster sent to the Graveyard by this effect declared an attack during this turn, the monster returned to the field by this effect cannot attack during this turn. Does this still need to hit your Life Points or should I get rid of that?
BoricuaBeast
To answer your question, yes, it seems necessary to burn yourself with it. As for the effect: It could use some changes. Really having a hard time understanding the effect. How about this: "This card can only be activated on your turn. When this card resolves, banish 1 face-up monster you control, then take damage equal to half that monster's original DEF. During your next Battle Phase, you can return the monster banished by this effect to your side of the field in face-up attack position. That monster cannot declare an attack this turn." IMO this seems more understandable. What do you think? Epic pic BTW.
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
To answer your question, yes, it seems necessary to burn yourself with it. Ok. As for the effect: It could use some changes. Really having a hard time understanding the effect. Oh, I thought I made it as easy to understand as I could. Basically, you can return the card to the field in response to an effect, an attack, or whatever else that you could activate MST or some other Spell Speed 2 card. The whole thing about it not being able to attack is to prevent you from using the card to attack twice with the same monster. If a "The monster sent to the Graveyard by this effect is the same monster as the monster returned by this effect" clause existed in Yugioh, it would be pretty useful here, but alas, there isn't. How about this: "This card can only be activated on your turn. Is there any specific reason for this? Not being able to use it during your opponent's turn takes out a lot of the usability that this card offers. For example, now you can't protect your boss from being killed off only to bring it back to stop your opponent's OTK. When this card resolves, banish 1 face-up monster you control Banishing the card reeks of Necroface and Dragon Rulers, even if sending it to the Graveyard makes Dandylion, Sangan, and GobZom go live. Now that the Rulers don't have any more kids, they could be ok with this, but I'm still iffy about Necroface. Also, is there actually a reason that you want the monster to have to be face-up for this to work? During your next Battle Phase, I take it you mean that this happens during the player's next turn? If so, then this takes forever to give you back your monster. O.o face-up attack position. I'm curious as to why this got put in. Just random anti-Defense Position stuff? That monster cannot declare an attack this turn." If I'm right in presuming it returns during the next turn, then this basically prevents two attacks. I don't think the monster should be punished that badly. IMO this seems more understandable. What do you think? Epic pic BTW. Well, you've changed it to where it prevents the monster from attacking twice (I think), burns you a bit (well, I put that there myself), and gets rid of an obstacle for your opponent to dish out more damage, possibly making it easier to OTK since it can only be brought back at a certain point during your turn. Do you really think that all of this should be the cost of dodging a Torrential Tribute or Bottomless Trap Hole?

AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
That moment when the only person to comment doesn't explain why he changed things the way he did. Really, I'm curious about why you wanted to make these changes. Oh, and if anyone else wants to comment, then go ahead and do so. I know you don't want to anyway. Sora1499
The intention is to make it act sort of like a lance, while also triggering effects like Sangan and Goblin Zombie. It's not really OP though: it acts more so as a monster savior then an effect abuser. However, if you were to add a clause like "That monster's effect(s) do not activate in the Graveyard" or something of that sort, it'd probably be better design. AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Preventing GobZom from getting extra searches off of this makes enough sense, though it takes the reward out of giving yourself an awkward amount of Life Points. I suppose the absurdness of having **75 HP is its own reward though, and it's better than grabbing too many monsters. Oh, and I first made this card before Lance came around. /Editing way too late.
