Saiba Aisu
Hello, everyone. It's been a while since I posted anything in Realistic Cards, but I figured I would give it a shot. In this case, I decided to give you guys a sneak peak at another of the many Japanese-styled cards cards which will be featured in my current writing project, Yu-Gi-Oh! End of Days. This is the key card of one of the major heroes who has yet to be revealed—he plays a Celestial Angel Deck which embodies the concept of divine justice and focuses on using low-level monsters for critical plays. As always, your comments and suggestions are appreciated. ===Splendid Angel Prince Erminor (Image Link) - "Eros" by `Wen-M; "Feathers" by ~Astro-Stock, Image + Japanese Edit by Saiba Aisu.Splendid Angel Prince Erminor Level 7 Light Fairy-Type/Synchro/Effect ATK 2600 / DEF 2100 1 LIGHT Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner LIGHT monsters When this card is Special Summoned: You can negate the effects of your opponent's face-up Spell and Trap Cards and destroy them. This card inflicts piercing battle damage. Once per turn, when this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: you can banish 1 LIGHT monster from your Graveyard to have this card attack one more time in a row. a bad post
Alright time to make an effort to get back into CC! Anyway Saiba nice to see you back again, hopefully your back longer this time! O_O That art is certainly interesting art though... Anyway, this card is certainly nice as a boss monster to a Fan-Fic, though realistically this card isn't to game changing to the meta. Off the top of my head I can't see this really working in any real archetype, and it is kind of difficult to review considering its are card for a Fan-Fic. I do hope this helps though. Not-so-Radiant Arin
Completely shuts down Fire Formation plays when it's Summoned. This makes it a really nice card to play against that particular Deck, and against Anti-Spell Fragrance or anything really that runs lots of Spells/Traps. The requirements are alright. It would go really well in some form of an Agents Deck if Ancient Sacred Wyvern ever got hit somehow. I feel as though it could be a generic tuner and still get away with it being good. Piercing Battle Damage. Great. Well, would be great if people Set monsters like....ever. 2600 ATK means it can be run over by Scrap/Red Dragon/Pearl. The last effect, with the way it's worded, means that you can make additional attacks per turn, because it doesn't state "once per turn". So, theoretically, you could wipe your entire opponent's monster field clean without so much as lifting a finger. It's basically a more busted version of BLS's "can attack again" effect. So what I'd recommend is changing that to at least a once-per-turn. Having a monster that can wipe the entire board, inflict piercing damage, and THEN go AGAIN for a direct 2600 is too much. Saiba Aisu
Ok guys, I'll do my best to address your comments separately!H.N. Elly: Haha, what do you mean, "interesting?" I'm aware it's a bit risqué, but I like it a lot. It's so fruity and pretty and "splendid!" Hehe. Umm, well, I actually created it after testing a variation of the Agent Deck on Dueling Network. So I don't think it's too hard a stretch of animation to see this card working with that Deck.. All you need is Agent of Creation - Venus (to summon a Mystic Shine Ball) and Agent of Mystery - Earth to play this baby. I dunno if it's just how I am playing the Deck, but I ran into that kind of situation often (usually I opted for Black Rose Dragon to bomb the field, then spammed Kristya).Arin the Radiant: Thanks, I'm glad you noticed that! Fire Formation is one of my least favorite Decks to play against… Also, I created it after playing a really annoying match against someone who spammed Safe Zone. Yep, I agree! See the above. I also agree with you that most people don't set, I just sort of tossed that out for some flavor. I don't think it's too game-changing though, unless you're running Ojama Trio or something? Oops. I definitely meant for the last effect to be limited to once per turn, I must have forgotten that. Thanks for pointing it out. EDITED!
.Leo
Personally, I like how this card is playable in Agents (maybe I am just biased towards that) with an Earth + Venus + Shine Ball play. As stated before, it stops all Fire Formation plays which is key. The double attacking ability is nice as well, unfortunately it will be competing with Master Hyperion for monsters in the graveyard, but by the time you drop this card, you should be well on your way towards a victory. I like this card a lot. It is a good level 7 to use in an Agent Deck (and the fan fic deck ofc) and I see no flaws with it. Good job!
Saiba Aisu
.Leo: Thanks, I am glad you liked it so much! I worked really hard on editing the image, so it's nice to hear that I was able to match it to a good effect, as well :) I really love Venus + Shine Ball! It's such an elegant combination, I'm hoping to channel that kind of play style in this character's Deck (low level Fairy support). I agree that he would have to compete with Hyperion for monsters.. But considering that you just provided some nice fuel by dumping Earth, Venus, and multiple Shine Balls, it shouldn't be too bad..
