Is any discussion actually necessary? Card is OP. Would say it should've gone to 1, but people only use it at 1 at most, so wouldn't solve anything.

 

Then again, Gustav Max is way more OP than this, and it's at 3 as well, so I guess I can't really comment.

To be honest, the card did need a reprint for some time as its price tag was quite high and it is a good, splashable Rank 4, it was just a matter of time until it got said reprint.

Seriously, don't lump this card in with Gustav max. Sure this is a bit easier to make, however this is either a 800 damage burn or a 3k beater if it attacks a monster, while Gustav Max is a 2k burn on top of a 3k body that can attack the same turn it uses it's burn effect.

 

Both are of course stupid in the loop setups they are often used in, but alone Cowboy is a fairly balanced card.

My point was not to make a discussion on which one is better. Both are ridiculous. Both can finish an opponent off. Neither is really balanced. Gustav is less balanced than Cowboy. That's ultimately the case. But with decks spamming the field with 10s and 4s all too often, neither should be in the game, IMHO.
