Harox18
I was working on a card set and I formed a Spell Card Effect in my head. I was just wondering how balanced it is, and the opinions of anyone reading this. Spell - Quickplay Effect : Banish one "Polymerization" from your deck; Special Summon one fusion monster from your Extra Deck, ignoring its summoning conditions. If the the fusion material monsters listed on the card are not already on your side of the field or in your graveyard, the summoned monster's ATK and DEF and halved. vla1ne
That is broken for quite a few reasons. there are a lot of fusion monsters that possess effects able to devastate fields, and as a quickplay, the card grants almost as much advantage as super polymerization with barely any of the downsides. I suggest you make the card negate the effects of whatever card you choose instead of cutting the attack, and even that might not be enough seeing as some of the Fusion monsters in the game have effects that activate off-field. I suggest you add in a clause that prevents all other special summons that turn as well.
Banish 1 "Polymerization" from your deck; Special Summon one fusion monster from your Extra Deck, ignoring its summoning conditions. Its effects are negated. If the fusion material monsters listed on the card are not already on your side of the field or in your graveyard, the summoned monster's ATK and DEF and halved. You cannot Special Summon other monsters During the turn You activate this card.
