:^) Posted September 4, 2013 Report Share Posted September 4, 2013 I decided to make Xyz Support for Gravekeeper's. Here we go. 3 level 4 "Gravekeeper's" monsters. When this card is Xyz Summoned add 1 level 6 or lower DARK monster from your Deck to your hand. While "Necrovalley" is face-up on the field this card cannot be destroyed by battle.This card's effects are unaffected by "Necrovalley". Once per turn, you can Detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and activate 1 of the following effects: Add 1 "Necrovalley" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. Posted September 4, 2013 Report Share Posted September 4, 2013 Monk/Tomato/GK Spy/etc into this.This adds Dark Armed Dragon.Sit on this card until it's destroyed, since It + it's Materials will fulfill DAD's requirements.Might want to tweak your card a bit, seeing as how it's materials are semi-generic, coupled with the fact it can add ANY DARK monster, it's just rather overkill by itself.Mostly because of the fact it's rather splashable and gives you too much of a toolbox for literally no effort at all. The only thing I can think of doing is editing the effect to "level 6 or lower DARK monster". Also could change it so it's 3 level 4 "Gravekeeper's" monsters instead of 2 level 4 DARK monsters. Tad easy, but better to leave the three on the field at times, so gotta think before you summon.When this card is Xyz Summoned add 1 level 6 or lower DARK monster from your Deck to your hand.The only card I can currently think up besides Gravekeepers is Birdman. It also pretty much has 2700 ATK.The second effect could also recycle Gravekeepers.……hmmmmm.Yeah, I understand the concept. Still, I feel not many people would go for this, really, considering how there are so many better Rank 4 Xyz. It could be destroyed easily by card effects anyways.The first effect could be nice at times but it’s also sorta pointless, since I’ve actually never seen a Gravekeeper deck that can’t constantly maintain a Necrovalley on the field. It is nice to get a +1 every turn but still…not enough.The second effect is only good for Spy recycling, except if you have three Gravekeepers out you’ve probably got a nice way or another to win, or at least severely damage the opponent, at that point.I say give it an effect that either destroys obstacles (preferably on the opponent’s turn), and/or gives you draw power. Right now, I’m pretty sure no one’s gonna summon it much.Given how Gravekeepers are a deck that crush the obstacle monsters and beat up the LP directly with 2000 beatsticks popping out endlessly out of nowhere, I don't think a 3xGravekeepers Xyz would work. A Gravekeeper's Xyz isn't a bad concept. ....but does it really make any sense to give a bunch of Egyptian spellcasters and soldiers a dragon? A robot dragon, no less.
