If your opponent controls more cards than you do: You can detach1 Xyz Material from this card, then choose 1 unused Monster Card Zoneor Spell & Trap Card Zone; while this face-up card is on the field, that Card Zone cannot be used. I like the OCG name better. Anyways, no doubt this thing is good, but with Shock Ruler gone in the TCG, Oburous or Thunder Spark are probably being used as the 3 Material Rank 4 Xyz of choice these days. I don't know, I haven't played in a while. What about this option? What does it have going for it? Dragon Support Decent Defense Wicked Avatar effect So YCM, what do you think of it? Useful? Decent? Lonk Posted September 7, 2013 Report Share Posted September 7, 2013 While he is outclassed by other 3 Mat Rank 4s, the fact that he can adopt the ATK value of any monster your opponent controls +100 makes sure that you will get a reliable beater, even if you do something like CotH on it. I like it, but even when it's worth going into, I usually can think of a better option at the time among 2 or 3 Material Rank 4s, at least in Heraldics. vla1ne Posted September 12, 2013 Report Share Posted September 12, 2013 I never manage to find room when I build on DN, so i'm not sure how practical he is, but the +100 eff feels like it could come in handy, and if you drop a xing zen hu on somebody you can possibly get a complete spell card lock. that much is amazing in itself.
