Zeppeli Gyro Supreme Posted September 8, 2013 Report Share Posted September 8, 2013 It's not the most consistent card, but it's funny as heck in my Volcanic Counter deck. People keep going to push for game, then stopping when they realize that if they attack me they will trigger all 3 of my Counters in grave and lose the duel. You can just let them sit there in the grave for a while, and build up your resources, potentially building up into a OTK. If that was what you were referring to. If it was damage reflection or healing cards being set up in advance, then yes. That is a great weakness of the card, but you can easily see and counter such plays in advance. The problem with that is that Burial is at 1, and Miracle Dig is much too slow and weak in comparison. Although I don't play burn often, I do like to put a copy of this into any burn build I make, people easily forget about it, and that callousness can give you the game. Although I don't play burn often, I do like to put a copy of this into any burn build I make, people easily forget about it, and that callousness can give you the game. 50% of my wins with my Volcanic Counter deck were because my opponent apparently didn't know what it did and attacked me with a big monster to make it game. I have beaten E-Dragon Plants, Bujins, Lightsworn, and a lot of other decks like this. Another problem with Counter is that you have to have another FIRE in the grave, Otherwise you could do an OTK with Grinder Golem, Inferno Tempest, and Burial From a Different Dimension Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
